Yaaaaaay for Ziva!   😁    Good job sweet girl! ❤

Now when you go to pick her up don't even bother to look at her incision or draw any attention to it. All she wants to see is your smiling face and hear you tell her she's going home!

When you get a chance and after you get everything settled, give us an update on how the homecoming is going.

Hugs

Woohooo! Oh that's really good news, what a relief for everyone!

I know you're going to get emotional when you see her, it's only natural. Keep reminding yourself that she is a Tripawd Warrior Princess and will be back to her old self in no time at all. Picture it in your mind, it will happen!

Let us know how tonight goes OK?

We made it home! All is good an Ziva is resting comfortably. Vet said everything went exceptionally well. Ziva even pee'd and pooped when the Vet took her out for a walk when she first woke up. I think the poop was an accident from being all doped up. But it's all good. Well hope for a restful night and see how things are in the am.

YAAAAY!!!! HOME SWEET HOME!!   So glad this day is done and Ziva is home resting and feeling no pain! Boy, what a roller coaster ride it was to get to this point!

I know you are so relieved to have her home and on the road to recovery. Now try to get some rest yourself. You have to be exhausted mentally and physically.

YEA for Ziva being home! She is absolutely beautiful. As Sally said you need to make sure you het rest as well!

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019.  With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer.  I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud!  He will live forever in my Heart!

Well night one is in the books. Not too bad I managed about 4 hours sleep on and off.

Gave Ziva her meds no problem. She drank water and ate her breakfast. She did wet the bed but I was expecting that so no worries. She was pretty doped up last night.

She is winning a bit this am but I'm gathering that's a bit normal as well.

Well try for a short walk and potty break soon.

Yes indeedy Ziva!  To be this mobile and to have  adapted to being a tripawd so beautifully  is absolutely  glorious to watch!!😎      This is a great video  to show that, even after just 24 hours, dogs can handle three just fine!  Obvi some dogs need more time.  Regardless,  this is very inspiring!

I'm so happy for you, Steve!  The video of Ziva is amazing.  She is doing so well so quickly after surgery - moving around, eating, and peeing/pooping.  She is a superstar!  Sending lots of hugs from NYC! ~ Stacy & Griffin

Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com

Thank you everyone, when we first woke up at 4am I thought boy this is going to be a long day. She was whining and whimpering and I was preparing myself for a long one.

Once up she drank water and acted like she wanted to go outside, so outside we went. She did her potty breaks and I almost cried. Holy Crap she is awesome.

So update till this afternoon, she's moving around comfortably and she is even going up and down the three steps to the back yard. I still stand by and help if she looks to be struggling.

Looks like I'm going to have to slow her down just a bit but that is fine with me!!

So happy she is doing so well! I know what a big relief that is. She is so darn beautiful!

Now Ziva, you slow down until those stiches come out, and then there will be lots of fun!

Wowww.....she looks fantastic!!  So happy she is doing well.  My girl, Cisco, is two weeks post amp right front leg today and it has been so amazing and inspiring to watch her adapt to her new normal.  Animals are truly amazing!!!  I wish I knew how to upload a video to show my girl running around our backyard today!  So glad Ziva is doing great....you've got an amazing girl there 🙂
