Thanks everyone for all your help guidance and support. It's made this difficult time a lot easier.
Ziva has a Vet appointment Wednesday morning for her annual vaccines and Dr Allen is going to give her a good look over including blood work and maybe an X-ray or two just to make sure all is good for now.
Ziva is playing, running, and being mostly her usual self and as far as treatments we are only doing natural medicine right now. Dr Wolf from PetSynergy.com is her holistic medicine vet. Fingers crossed for a clear inspection lol.
She is one very hoppy girl! Look at that expression on her face, it says it all: THANK YOU DAD! This is what it means when we say that amputation is doing it for a dog or a cat. I'm so happy you came back to share
We are sending tons of pawsitivity to you and Ziva for a great report card. Keep us posted!

Super great news from Zivas Dr appointment today.
They did X-rays of Zivas lungs, and both back legs, and blood work. Ziva passed with flying colors!!!!! No signs of her cancer metastasizing. Lungs clear was the main thing we were looking at so I'm am very happy. Nothing else mattered today because my baby is rocking it. Couldn't ask for a better check up. Going on seven months since her amputation and she continues to impress me every day. I want to be more like my dog lol.
Anyway now that I've figured out pictures I promise to get some more up soon. For now can't stop smiling. 😃
YES she IS rocking it! That's so pawesome, congratulations on kicking cancer's butt!
And you are totally just like Ziva, you are a great student, she's taught you well.
Keep smiling, keep lovin' life just like your girl.

Steve - that is a fantastic update! I am so thrilled for you and Ziva that her check-up was so positive and that she continues to rock life as a Tripawd. She is so lucky to have you as her dad! Please give her big smooches from Griffin and me! Stacy
Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com
So here we are entering month number eight since Zivas surgery. She's still rocking it and happy and healthy all on three legs.
With everything else going on in this world I'm glad my baby is doing so great. I'm also glad that a lot of your kids are doing great as well.
And if this post helps any then that is a bonus on top of it all. Even big dogs rock with three. Keep the faith and the love and your fur babies will respond. Thank you everyone and I owe some new pics. I'll try my best over turkey day weekend.
P.s. Ziva say hi!!
ZIVA, YOU ARE A TRIAWD BIG DOG ROCKSTAR!!! HAPPY EIGHT MONTH AMPUVERSARY ZIVA!!! Way to inspire big pippers everywhere!
I hope you get a steak dinner with ice cream and cake to celebrate....and we want pictures!
