Once again, Oslo wanted to share a part of his medical history with Peanut. Maybe he was jealous of all the attention she got from her mother this week? What a good idea it is to catch a bug! pffff

So Oslo scared us this morning with heavy panting, all his body quivering, no appetite at all (he is a greedy dog usually) and fever. His fever went up as high as 40,4 C .   At some point, he asked to go outside and he just layed down on the snow.  And the snow was melting under him Oh My! There is no way I could have taken a picture of him tucked in his bed like Peanut (even tough a silly part of me wished I could) .Fortunately, we were able to talk to our vet even if the clinic was not officially opened yet. And we got antibiotics at once.  He is resting now (fever has lowered) and so do we.

Oslo, it's not funny to scare your momma like that!

Glad to hear he's resting and has some meds in his system. Peanut says Oslo just melts the snow because he's a hot, hunky boy. 🙂 Hopefully he'll feel better soon. We'll be keeping an ear out for how he's doing.

Ahh, glad you caught it quickly!! I guess with those low blood counts from chemo, Oslo, however hunky, is still at risk of infection. Poor Oslo - it must be a big blow to his macho self-image. Peanut doesn't seem to mind.

Oslo, we are so glad to hear you're feeling better. Just curious but what kind of bug did you catch?
