Once again, I lost my post! Sorry you guys! I get all excited and don’t wait for it to tell me that it posted successfully!!!

Stewie is definitely more Stewie! He is hopping lighter and his eyes look far more comfy and his General well being seems better!

i seriously want to thank everyone for al, of their time and care for Stewie! There really is something to be said for Tripawd Power!!! Wevery much appreciate you all!

i am also deeeeelighted that Stewie had a case of the growlies and feistyness Sally! 

Karen it really is a good point about the wet weather, plus it is still really cool outside. I will definitely keep an eye on the variables that are going on. There are a lot of things to consider I guess! I will keep my pawsitive thoughts in this direction

we are on strictbed rest right. Now and will be for a few days. The meds seem to be helping for sure! As for loving, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to give him enough to tell you honestly!!!

Sally and Teresa, you are sooooo bloomin sweet! Im so sorry that i didn’t get back to you yesterday, but we had a minor hiccup that turned into WWIII around here!!! 

After Stewie had his breakfast yesterday morning, he hopped on over to me, whimpered and put his neck all funky again!!! Of course i freaked out and i was sure that Paul saw it, but he insisted he hadn’t!?! It didn’t last long. He was acting ‘normally’ again in just a few minutes, but i certainly didn’t like the fact that this happened while he was on his meds!

I wanted to go to the vets to have him checked out and Paul didn’t. Now i realize that most of you are probably going to say “that rotten bloody bastard! What is wrong with him?!!” I don’t blame you... from the outside, this would look like a cold hearted and non-caring response, but in truth that couldn’t be further from the truth!!!

This is very difficult for me to write because i am opening up my home and letting you into ‘my boudoir’ so to speak... please bare with us and know that Stewie is being taken care of and is not suffering!

After the remnants of the battlefield had been cleared up, we came to an understanding ... As long as i could maintain comfort levels for Stewie we will continue on as we are. Paul doesn’t want to go and see the new vet, not because of the cost, but because he feels that Dr. Laurie and Dr. Bill gave us the best care and advice with our last consultation. The new vet, although he is sure will be very nice and knowledgeable, there is no doubt that she would need to see him before making any calls. He doesn’t want to put Stewie through that! We know he has an aggressive cancer, but with me constantly talking about it, it hurts him to the ooooomph degree! Can you understand what it is I’m trying to convey? He is praying for many more years, but our reality is going to be something different than that! How long? God knows, i don’t... i hope it is years and we can all say shame on me for saying otherwise... i will look forward to that you guys!!!

Now understand and I’m sure most of you do... i watch Stewie like a hawk! I see EVERTHING right?! Paul doesn’t. Now whether that is because he doesn’t want to always see it...??? I can not make any excuses for him, i just know that in his heart, he knows that Stewie is not hopping as well as he was. He can see that he has slowed down and doesn’t want to go very far, but he also sees a dog who is eating perfectly normally, gets excited about his road trips, runs and bounces after his Hedgies and eats his Bully Sticks like there is no tomorrow! Soooooo........

This is a journey that is full of ups and downs, it is bitter and it is sweet... while Stewie (and Spike for that matter!) is still with us, we need to stay sweet! Life is too short and its all the little things that matter right! Thank you for letting me tell my truth, it is extremely difficult some days, but i realize that others are going through this same damn journey too and are maybe having some troubles along the way... so if it helps to show you that we all have different experiences and sometimes the challenges lay not with the crap 💩 itself, but also with the furmily and their needs and emotions, then “Welcome to my Bloomin’ Bedroom! It Ain’t always Sweet!” 

This morning, i am happy to report that Stewie is feeing groovy and has had his breakfast and two pieces of beef jerky! Sheeesssshhh! Talk about being spoilt rotten! He will never lack for Love!
