Great pictures, thanks for sharing. Mine won't pose like that, but then they don't like each other very much.
Hope your vet visit goes OK and that you have more magical time with Roxie.
I was hoping to throw a rooooo rooo your way, but at this time of night the best the pugs can do is zzzzzzzz thtbth zzzzzzzz.

LOVE the pictures! Wow, stunning pups you got there. Lovely, just lovely. May they adorn and coat every surface in your home!
I hadn't realized your onco or vet gave her "3 weeks". That's tough. And also uncertain! I totally missed that and I'm sorry for glossing over it. The good news is that she's OK these days, in comparison to weeks ago. Does this humidity make your dogs pant? It does for Jackson. Maybe that's what she's panting about! Maybe.
I'll be checking for news about her visit today, so please, if you can, let us know how it goes.
Roooooos to Roxie!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack... You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!
Vet visit = peace of mind for the bargain price of $40. and change. Our wonderful primary care vet said her lungs are moving a lot of air; without machinery to measure volume he can't quantify it, but he's not hearing any crackling/gurgling/anything that sounds like solid interference. All body parts healthy and she gained back 3.5 pounds of the 4 she'd lost when she stopped eating on the meds. He agrees it's hard to tell, and says the veterinary community tries NOT to predict a time, but it's not today. Said her appetite is the best indicator and that's just fine....personal pickiness aside. And he's pretty impressed with her ability to haul herself up and hop around...LET'S GO!!!!
So I'm breaking out my dog baking recipes to make her a barkday cake that we won't have to serve early: she'll be 12 on Sunday.
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Still working on that video....to send to Jerry...to post here.
thanks for all the good thoughts!
Christine, pics are 1 page back, post #72, thanks to Jerry. Roxie taps, too, when it's something she reallyreally wants.
Katy, the humidity definitely factors in, along with the heat; just brushing her coat makes ME hot.
So I feel a little weight lifted, and the vet's working Saturday... just-in-case. S I G H!!!!!!
Great report Liz & Roxie. No just incase. Sassy went a long long time until they couldn't hear good breath sounds & stuff. So ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (Rooooooooo Roooooooo from me) the other was angel Sassy.
Keep kicking butt Roxie
Hugs Michelle & Angel Sassy

Ok then! So forget those 3 weeks-timeline! I know, a few weeks ago you were probably thinking you'd be LUCKY to make it to this Tues. But now that's Roxie is doing SO much better and your lovely vet is impressed, suggests she'll exceed Tuesday. Bake that cake, eat it will all 3 paws and Rooooo away! I say you just earned a nice, peaceful weekend. It sounds like there's no symptoms of anything worrisome, but you know the drill: enjoy every day as a gift. Yipppeee!

Fantastic news!
Yep, dogs don't have expiration dates stamped on their butts even when they're dealing with cancer. I love watching our heroes defy the odds!
Happy early Barkday Roxie, I hope you have a ball

Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.
You can read their stories at http://adelaide.tripawds.com and http://brendol.tripawds.com
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT NEWS!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAÀAAAAAAAAAAY
Roxie has OFFICIALLY kicked time frame's butt!! KAPUT! BLOWN TO BITS!! OUTTA' HERE! , BLASTED TO SMITHERINES!
GAINING WEIGHT, SOUNDING GOOD, SURE AS HECK LOOKING GOOD!
TIME TO 'JUST BE'!
And a whole lot of applause to you Liz! You did not give up! You nd Roxie said "It's not time and we will figure out together how to make you feel better." You did your research......you studied ""rare but possible side effects" in this drug or that drug. It would have been so easy tofive in to exhaustion and a fatalistic attitude. You walked the very, very fine line of figuring out quality versus quantity. You are now walking o solid ground knowing you've been able to accoplish both
Happ Hannah's picking out her outfit for the party and wants to go shoppi ng for her present! It's a great way to motivate her to do some house chores for an allowance.....making her bed equals two cookies......licking all my dinner dishes clean equals three cookies......drinking out of her water bowl i stead of the toilet equals one cookie........so she should have plenty saved up for Roxie's birthday party
ROO ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROO ROOOOOOOOOOOOOi g over here all ight long
Bowing down to HRH Roxie and her jester and servant Liz!
Au tie Sally and Happy hHan
