hey guys:

my Dad met vet already, vet said:

1,there is no necessary to do amputation for age 12 years old dog

2,Adun will take a x-ray tomorro to chect if metastasis or not, it make no sence if it has metastasis

3,the risk if amputation is about the anaesthesia whether adun can handle

4 After the amputation, there is no place to let Adun stay in the hospita, lots dog in the queue, we have to bring Adun back home to take care by ourself(i know this sounds ridiculours , vet will truss Adun in a tiny area after the amputation if hospital have place to let Adun stay , so there is no lots different depends on chinese bad take care services for dogs )

Tomorrow my Dad will bring Adun to see vet and do the amputation if the x-ray showes good news.

i think we will bring Adun go back home without amputation if it has metastasis to lung..........

my Dead is worry about where can we start to cut Adun's leg  if x-ray showes the connection between thigh and waist got problem. in the situation, does imaginabale the  metastasis will go to waist very fast ?

and also i will find out how to take care Adun , is it sounds too hard to take care of Adun without vets when the firist day Adun just finish the amputation. i start to worry about this , u know chinese is lots diffierent, doctor do not even enough to take care of the huge population of chinese people, for dogs , vet said people alway give up when the cancer happen to a dog, they do not have lots experience to copy. what they can do is only like this... ,what i can do is know more before tomorrow!

Thanks for the new reply from jerry and everyone, i will read them again before i pray

Hello everyone:

i was busy for making Canada visit visa last week,  sorry for let u guys  know the good news so late, haha,Adun have alreay made the amputation, it happened on 20th,11,2010. when my Dad took Adun to the hospital, Adun looked like that he had already knew it would be a good decision, he looked happy,  Vet siad his cancer leg will be broken soon if he do not make the amputation, vet also said the cancer have not go to the lung yet from the x-ray, i think it is a good new if vet is right.i sent some pics about x-rays which took before the amputation above(x-ray for cancer leg part , cancer leg above and lungs), and also got pics for Adun after amputation.

After amputation, Adun slept 2days , and then, he start to stand up and go to toilet, haha. my Dad said Adun can go out and take a walk . 4 floors for him is not a big problem.

Adun looks like have already get rid of the painful, Adun have started to climbing to my Dad's legs for asking snack as same as before  . i will ask my Dad to get more pics and more news to let you guys know next time.

My Dad let me to say thank everybody one more time.  love u guys so much, i will put more news here as long as i know.

That is such wonderful news!  Adun is a beautiful dog and really doesn't look his age at all.  It must be all the exercise he gets going up and down the stairs.

Sounds like Adun is doing very well!!!  It is great that his lungs are clear now, and it sounds like he is getting around fine already.

Let us know if you have any questions, and keep us posted on his progress.

And we always welcome more pictures.

He looks great!  Your veterinarian did a good job with the amputation.
