Hi,
This is about another kind/location of osteosarcoma. Our new dog, an American Bully, that adopted us 5 yrs ago has osteosarcoma and multilobular osteochondrosarcoma (MLO). Skull cancer that also grew into his brain. Thankfully, it didn't attached to his brain. I can't figure out how to add a pic. He had surgery Tuesday, Thursday they made him a titanium skull cap and hopefully he'll be sent home Monday. He seems to be doing better day after day. We have been able to visit the last 2 days.
His first diagnosis was wobblers. Thankfully we were able to get a sooner appt with a neurologist that diagnosed him correctly. Had we waited the 6 weeks with the original neurologist, he would be gone.
I was wondering is anyone has any experience with this.
Thank you!
Christine
Hey Christine, I'm sorry your dog was diagnosed with that rare form. I'm so glad he's doing better and can go home soon. Where did the surgery happen? Sounds like a good oncology team.
I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but a few years ago we met a dog with osteosarcoma in his skull. See:

Hi, The surgery was done at Carolina Vet Specialists in Winston Salem, NC. In 2 weeks we start radiation at NC State. I wish I could remember how to add pics.
He's doing well. Still on a bunch of meds, and we contacted Dr. Loops in Pittsboro, NC for homeopathic help. Still waiting on the results of the biopsy.
Ohhh yeah you're in great hands at those two practices. NC state is especially pawesome. I'm so glad he's doing well, that's such good news. I forgot to ask, what is his name?
This is how adding images to the Forums works.
- Upload pics to a photo sharing site like imgur.com or your own Tripawds blog (https://tripawd...../supporter). Pictures and video have to be hosted (live) somewhere other than in the forums.
- Once the photo is uploaded somewhere, right click and copy the Image URL or just copy the image if you’re on a phone
- Return to your Tripawds Forum post and paste the image URL (or the image itself) in your post. It should automatically appear.
If you’d like help figuring out the process let me know OK? I'm happy to add them for you if you'd like, I know you've got a ton on your mind. I'm just so sorry you are dealing with cancer again!

I just had a chance to sit down and read about Mr. Jose Cuervo (love the name!). WOW. Thank you for starting the blog, and sharing. We will be following closely and cheering for an easy treatment time and speedy healing.
Cancer sucks but dang he looks so good considering what his body has been through! I'm glad he's on the mend.
