I'm not sure this post will get through as the last two or three haven't

Oh no, what kind of error messages did you get?

I'm glad she is back home, that must have been so scary!

As for chemo, here's an article that may help you organize your thoughts:

I've been following Sally's journey and all the great advice you've received.  Looks like Ive joined in just in time to say

YAAAAAAAAAY FOR SALLY FINALLY BEING IN THE ROAD TO RECOVERY AND LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST!! 🙂 🙂   You've certainly had some ups and downs this past week, but so glad things are finally settling down!! 🙂

My Happy Hannah had four rounds of Carboplatin.  She sailed through with no issues.

Some dogs may get a bit nauseous for a day or two, but the Vet will give you Cerenia just in case.  As Paula said, sometimes there may be a low WBC, but that's no biggie.

REALLY GLAD THI GS ARE LOOKING UP FOR YOUR PUP!!!  Good job of hanging tough and taking care of vusiness! 🙂

Hugs

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I got a message saying 'awaiting moderation'

I have to admit it was hard but your talk at Greyhounds Rock really helped.

Thank you so much, that's really useful.

Thanks so much again all for the support and advice.  It really helps when all of this can be a little overwhelming at times.

Sally is having her first round of Carboplatin on Friday so fingers crossed.

In the meantime this weekend she has been so much happier.  Almost back to her old self.

I'm just trying to judge how much exercise she should do and how to build it up.  She's really enjoying pottering round the garden at the moment.

Oh my gosh you are so welcome! Glad that Sally is happier and you've had a good weekend. This is fabulous news.

Regarding exercise..have you checked out the Tripawds e-books library? Or our Tripawds Gear blog ? We have lots of exercise tips in there such as:

http://gear.tri...../exercise/

Go slower than you think you need to when it comes to exercise, it's still early in her recovery.

P.S. you shouldn't get the "Awaiting Moderation" messages any more now that we've approved your first post (that's why your posts wouldn't show up at first, we needed to approve them to prove you aren't a spammer). Thanks for your patience.

Keep us posted on the big chemo day. Glad we could be there for you!
