Haha, yes, he is the star, I am just "Mosby's owner."
His diarrhea has seemed better - he has not had another night like he did Saturday night (husband volunteered to sleep downstairs with him for the repeated visits outside this time), so that is good.
We have tried Fresh Pet - the stinker didn't like the "tube" sort of wet one, but sometimes eats the one that's basically like pieces of chicken. We pretty much have tried everything out there. He ate treats this morning, and the sitter just reported that he ate treats for him, so we are still hoping that as the Cipro continues to clear his system his appetite will improve.
He was perky this morning even though he didn't really want to eat. I was happy about the perkiness, because it means he didn't get overly worn out yesterday. So the plan is still for him to go to daycare tomorrow and Thursday. He didn't drink at daycare - even though they put a bowl right next to him! - but it may have been because there was so much going on. Hopefully he drinks there tomorrow. 🙂
No diarrhea, eating "some" and eating treats AND FEELING PERKY!!!! Sounds like a good update to me!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Yeah, the Pet Fresh in the bag is the one that seems to work best. Might be time for some more of Mom's homecooked chicken and steak! Yum!
All.paws crossed that the Cipro is the culprit!
Thanks for taking the time to uldate on ojr SUPER STAR ROCK STAR! 🙂 🙂

I'm such a bad mom, I keep feeding him stuff to "test" him. Most of it he's willing to eat. And all of his treats now pass the "yum" test. He's going to really enjoy daycare tomorrow now that he's feeling more up-to-snuff! And while his sitter is doing a great job, it's such a relief to us to have him be watched over and taken care of the whole day while he's at daycare.Â
Okay Mom, first of all, you are a GRRRRRRREAT MOM!!!!!! You have had an enormous amount of stress and so many ups and downs, but you weathered it all!! Give yourself a Hug! You deserve it! 🙂
HOWEVER, it is time to relax some now, put the "treat test" aside, and just enjoy the "flow of normalcy". And besides, too many treats may interfere with his supper time 🙂 Then again it really is hard not to give a tripawd anything he wants, anytime he wants!! But with everything you've been through, I can see why you want to do the "treat test" a lot. Being perky and wagging his tail is also a really good measure of how he's doing. And it sounds like he's doing just fine!! 🙂 🙂 AND SO ARE YOU!!!! 🙂

So happy for you! Â I hope this is the end of all of the strange complications for Mosby, and he enjoys daycare today!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.  Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma. Â
Wherever they are, they are together.
Mosby ate his full breakfast this morning and is having a GREAT day at daycare! They have sent me pictures and updates. I will post the pictures on the blog tonight, but you can check out his pictures on their facebook site if you want, they are Pawsitively Paradise Dog Resort in Lexington, KY. My heart is so full. And I am also hoping that it was mainly the Cipro, not the chemo that knocked him out after his last chemo - his oncologist actually upped his dose that very day! And he ate a full dinner that night, but started not eating the next morning. We will face whatever we have to face going forward, but right now I am just so happy that he is happy and eating and enjoying daycare. I can't wait to post the pictures, you guys should see his happy, smiling face!
