from the looks of that porta potty grassy knoll, Magic would be bigger than it, and he would be peeing over the edge and the grass would be pristine...
okay, one fish missing, another one starting to snort the cocaine...fish people coming out tomorrow...I was trying to print the AAA card off the web and my printer jammed, can't fix it, guy coming out tomorrow, in my attempt to fix it I managed to POUR INK or something all over my new laminate (well year old) floors and all over Magic's runner (good thing I have six more)
In case you guys haven't seen it, check out the post about AAA and the discount on drugs I posted...Massage gal told me about it and I did call them....now I'll get to buy a new printer for my trouble.
I am sure the bad luck will slow down, oh it did start with rushing my mom to get her wrist xrayed...that I have been bugging her about for three weeks...TODAY's the DAY!!
But we are not leaking pee and that is the good part!! and 3/4's of todays pills are down....and I actually have been nuking the meat for a couple of secs cuz it makes it easier to cut (and make pockets in for nasty pills)
don't touch the screen in case the bad luck is catching....
No leaking pee- yea!!! This MUST be the start of the turn around for you guys!!!
Did I tell you that before we started Mag on the incontinence meds, and I was still doing a load of laundry every day I actually broke my dryer!!!
So maybe having to buy a new printer isn't too bad ... because of course all we need in the middle of all this is extra expenses-
Karen and the pug girls
p.s. for those considering doggie diapers for whatever reason- I have found that they don't work on rear amp dogs- they really need the second leg to hold them up
Coke-snorting fish and leaking pee? Oh my!

yeah and I just noticed that last night's food is still floating on the top....something is wrong somewhere.
What meds do they give for incontinence....just in case we are going to need to add that it is nice to know there is SOMETHING.
I was also wondering if things that are given for COPD, inhalers and that nasty pred. (which apparently Magic's stomach problems are eliminating that option at least for now) work for any of these symptoms? just to help with the breathing? We aren't to that place yet and I think a lot of time he has stuff stuck in his throat, at least that is the look, or even a nausea thing (I always assume the pill stuck in the food might have not made it down and he is attempting to clear it out)
Think I shall lay down for a half hour before my friend arrives for our Dancing Finale sleepover....I hope I don't inadvertently push the tv over on her or something.
I want to know who is dealing coke to my fish....
Diane - as long as you have that great sense of humor, you will be just fine. Just ask your friend to not get too close to the TV.

You are one brave woman - with your fish sneaking their coke-dealer into the house - your dog leaking - puddles of printer ink all over the floor - carpet cleaners on auto pilot and you're having a sleepover ?? Did you make your friend sign a waiver before she agreed to stay the night?

Jerry would want Magic to hear what he had to say about Albuterol ...

I hope you survived the night without any catastrophes! Can't say your life is boring especially with those doped up fish of yours. I may not reply much, but I am keeping track of you and Magic.
Ruthie sends big tail wags!
This is me pretending that it's May I had to put Ruthie's blanket on tonight, she was shivering but she just loves to sleep outside in the open garage/shed. I wish she'd come inside.

Our version of the fake grass – potty stop – did not come with the fire hydrant – or the nice fence. It was a utilitarian model…only sold in Canada, I guess.
But you're Canadian and so nice, we couldn't make fun of you buying one! Plus, Diane has bought everything pitched to her! Would love to go to a garage sale at her house!
Karen, don't worry about not having company over. At least you don't have a little one that 'rushes' and growls at people! (and laughs about it!)
Two season finales tonight to watch and I have two wide awake pooches! One has been asking for PB cookies for 3 hours and the other wants to play "toss anything and I'll bring it back".
Diane, my condolences about the fish - I think?

She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

just a quickie…the bad luck continues….sent the two surviving fish to the fish store where I don't have to see them die and closed down the tank…no more fish
I called the vet to find out why I haven't heard about the urine culture to see if the Baytril was the right AB, and there has been a screwup and the lab didn't do it….now we wait again.
I have noticed little drops then nothing for hours and hours – once 24 hrs – (we have rain AGAIN so are in the house mainly, except for a romp yesterday with a new basset hound here at home when a friend visited to take a look at the pet loader steps)…then, few drops again…the vet says that she wouldn't have expected it to be totally over at this point (ABs since Mon?? last drops last night)
and we are going to finish this run of reglan and carafate (will be done in a day) and to stop the cerenia (she mentioned there are no studies in long term use with cancer patients...how can it hurt now…but?), we are going to START low dose prednisone and use zantac for tummy issues and see where this goes. We don't want the prednisone to create OTHER issues so she is starting low and we will see how it goes. This will be for both appetite stimulation and coughing relief (he doesn't cough a LOT, but maybe this will smack the mets a little…hey, rose colored glasses)
never a dull moment…..I won't even go into the other black cloud issues (it is a full moon…..)
I have bought everything pitched to me haven't I…snicker…..no garage sale…except for stuff I will donate, most of it will be in the pet supply shelf…um closet…um storage unit…ah, maybe whole house??
OMG - You bought the Pet Loader Steps, too???

you guys are picking on me aren't you!!! Magic wouldn't use the horribly heavy ramp, not even on the back steps but he WOULD use the steps so I call the guy and he says he will try to make the steps lighter for me cuz of course I bought the 18 inch ones...they are still pretty darn heavy but an excellent product....very graduated and nicely carpeted, very well made. Only problem, Magic wouldn't use them unless there was two of us and we were really forcing him up and down, he kept wanting to step off of them and his left leg turns out so much he would step off...some times accidentally and sometimes on purpose the stubborn boy. If we were somewhere else (still with one of us on each side of the steps) he would do better in order to get in the truck and come home. He just decided at the vet to get in the back of my truck right behind the driver's seat...i have a small ranger with that little back area. So I put a board in there and that is where he rides now, and I can help him into it with the harness.
I also got the k9 immunity and the transf. factor .....Hey, Rene and Jim got Jerry a whole TRAILER!!!!
Oh Diane !! I'm SO NOT picking on you !!! bwaahhhhhaaaaa (to borrow from Spirit Opie) - No WAY would Sophie use the steps !! They are in the original packaging in the garage - I keep meaning to send them back - but have procrastinated so long that I'm just plain embarrassed to do so now. (It's a long story.) They ARE a good product - VERY sturdy (especially those 18 inch ones - which, of course, I bought too )- lovely carpeting. It would be great for my crippled mother to get into my ex-husband's SUV - if the stairs had a handrail. She actually weighs less than Sophie ! However - it's easier - and certainly less hassle to just boost Sophie's back end into the back of my (smaller) SUV - and definitely easier to put down a little step-stool to get my mother into the larger SUV !! LOL ! It would have been cheaper to just buy the darn trailer !!

I so would like to get the steps also, but very afraid Trouble wouldn't use them either. I'm still pondering....
