oh boy, a hat! K-Dog looks good in red! Only 2 more days until those pesky stitches come out.

Husband took off Kenmore's t-shirt- he's been wearing them since the amp. This may be my imagination, but Kenmore seemed "insecure" when he went out in the yard "naked." Has anyone else seen this behavior- or is it just my crazy Pawrent reaction?

Cooper got to where he really liked having his t shirt on too, we put it on him for outside and then took it off inside so that air could get to the incision, he also acted funny the first time we took him out without the shirt. Looking forward to hearing that stitches out report!

I pawsonally didn't react that way when I stopped wearing my sweaters after I healed, but you know like we say here, every dawg is different!

For now, the T-shirts will stay on. After the stitches are out- maybe we'll take them off at night & he can sleep in the buff!

I keep thinking about it- its like Christmas or your birthday when you were a little kid- I am so looking forward to the stitches coming out. A camping family sent us a huge- natural doggie bakery cookie- like 2 pounds- that has " Get Well, Kenmore" on it- some of that will be his treat tomorrow. I may cry (but they are happy ones & tears of thanks!). We'll post a photo!

Thanks everyone- as always,

mandy & Kenmore

Hey Mandy and Kenmore,

I remember how excited we were to get the stitches out. It will be a day to celebrate for sure but then everyday is a day worth celebrating. With a 2 pound cookie you can do quite a bit of celebrating I would imagine smile Wishing you all the best. Give Kenmore a big hug for Fortis and I.
