Well, last night watching TV as a little ruff (puns are fun). I got a phantom pain /muscle spasm in my leg above my incision. Mom and dad did some massage work, iced it, on it and dad gave me some pain pills a little early and after about two hours it finally calmed down. It totally sucks when that happens. I feel for all my fellow tripawds when that happens. If it weren't for the cone, I could have licked it all better. After all, it is like I say dog spit is like duct tape, it will fix anything. Mom says my muscle spasms are like a gallbladder attack which evidently also suck and make you want to lie on the floor too.

Dad says we are adjusting the timing again on my meds to be better aligned for eating and awake times . I am also getting a massage a few more times today. Dad says it might be in part because I now take forever to pick a spot in the yard for my dog business (it is frost-level cold in the mornings here and I think he just is a big baby not wanting to stand in the yard in his PJs. It is not my fault he forgets his coat). I told him that if would cut the leash loose and give me some privacy it would go faster, but he is sort of a helicopter dad right now. Now I am the first to admit I am a bossie Aussie, but mom and dad really need to chill. I also over head dad on the phone with the surgery nurse, who I like, talking about meds. I am sure they will get it sorted out and I can get back to my binge watching Netflix and Hulu in peace.

Thanks again for my countdown number, I didn't realize we were down to counting on one paw. Woo Hoo! Any how, thanks or letting me bark it all out about last night. Today is sunny and things seem better. Woof out peeps!

I hope you and Piggy are lounging in the sun today!

Sorry about the phantom pain attack, I'm so glad your people were there to help get you through it. Hopefully that chatter with your Dad and the vet will keep it from happening again.

Eva, you are quite the philosopher! I love it!

Cheers to putting recovery behind you. You're almost there smiley_clap

I love your sense of humor. So sorry you had those phantom limb pains yesterday, but it sounds like your pawrents are all over it. Not only are we counting on one paw but we have toes left now!

EVA!!! YOI CRACK ME UP!!!🤣😂

Maybe  one of those 20' leashes so you can do your bidness in semi-privacy would be a win/win for you both😎  And yeah, forgetting his coat?  Hoomans can be aich slow learners sometimes 😉

Woo Hoo it is Friday and mom says the vet surgeon called to confirm my two week follow up and cone removal meeting on Monday.

been out in the yard today smelling stuff it was sunny so had to make some vitamin D while I can. Dad found outside my favorite toy, the glo-ball that I used to chase everyday, and brought it in the house so we could start to hone my catching skills again. He said gotta get sharp now that we on the recovery road. Most of the day has been just laying around , but ball time was fun. Dads iPhone doesn’t do my skills justice. 😀

Yay for sunshine and glo balls! That is a neat looking ball! We are going to have to go ball shopping as Bo has killed all of his balls, lol. I have not found a good one that he doesn't either pop, tear to pieces or totally skin, lol. He loves squeakers and anything I get turns into an all out mission to "get the squeaker" hahah!

T-minus 2!!! The weekend is here and Monday is right around the corner!!

Out with mom and dad. I needed more food and they went to the grocery store. One of them always stays in the car with me “because I am not to be trusted to not break into the console with my treats which might hurt my incision if I slip”. I say what a bunch of bologna. Anyway posed for the daily photo and proclaimed it Less than and one day.

Can't wait to hear how your vet visit went. Hope you get lots of treats for all of your patience over the last few weeks.
