Hey everybody,

Eurydice is finished with all chemo treatments after almost one year after amputation ...

And we did try everything possible ...

Of course, with osteosarcoma there are no guarantees whether one goes for chemo or not.

But we did have 6 courses of carboplatin, almost 2 months of metronomic therapy and 3 sessions of doxorubicin and I am pleased to say there were zero side effects all the way through.

Sadly, lung mets were found after metronomics and we changed into doxorubicin in the hope that it would slow down (or at best neutralise mets) the progression of this, but it did not.

So, we were left with Palladia as an option but Kelvin, the oncologist, made it very clear he did not have great results with this drug and he would not recommend it for my girl.

Thing is if we pursue chemo at this stage we must remember our babies are immonusupressed which means they are more prone to get infections ...

So I changed my thinking as I never thought I would.

And now we are doing holistic treatments.

I am thrilled with the results.

This is the second session and I am SO glad to report her energy levels and general wellbeing roared since her first treatment.

I know in my heart this is the right course of action at this time.

I know time is of the essence here but Eurydice is so great after this new treatment I dare thinking maybe we'll be able to enjoy life for much longer than anticipated ?

SO HAPPY THIS IS WORKING!!! AND YES, IT IS WORKING! Her energy level is spot on as is her overall well-being!! Yeah, sure sounds like it's working to me! 🙂

I have to say, when I first saw all those needles in Sweet Eurydice I kind of winced. And then I saw her happy mug looking perfectly relaxed and content and I knew she is very at peace with this treatment. And that's another really good sign!!

It's as though she instinctively, or intuitively, knows this is in harmony with her healing forces 🙂

We are all so excited about her upcoming ONE YEAR MILESTONE!! Merry Myrtle and Frankie and I have been eating ice cream everyday for a month in anticipation of the pawty!! 🙂

Sending so much love and slobbery kisses!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Ahhh Eurydice, you butt is smoking....

I'm so happy you are getting great results and feeling so good. I love my massages too. I think that is the look of love in your eyes as you look at your mama to thank her for all she does for you.

I always love your updates and photos. Mona is waiting for a really hot day to lounge in the sun. I think she'd enjoy your beaches.

Hugs and scratches. Enjoy your cuddles with the Pedros.

Ooooh this is a great update! I'm so hoppy acupuncture is already showing results. Many pets need at least three or four sessions before they feel a difference. YAY!

Tell us more about the treatment. Is the acupuncturist her vet? How often does she go? And is this the "dry needling" technique?

clap

You are a superstar, sweet Eurydice and I'm pleased to see you are receiving the superstar treatment. Every day is a spa day for you. So delighted to hear about the energy surge. Great news. I hope you are having some pampering too, Teresa, you surely deserve it ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Love it ! We are so happy you are seeing results already and happy with this course of treatment!

I really did think you would see a pawsitive change in Miss Cow! Mesotherapy treatment sounds interesting, I have not heard of that until today. Will dig more into that one;)

Purrkins and his brother both see a holistic Vet & get acupuncture and chiro done.  It is amazing to see the changes in them!

Miss Cow is already a miracle indeed!clapclap
