Thanks for all your well wishes. Stacy, I am sorry to hear you are having problems with Lulu, too. I hope she will start feeling better soon. Susan, Emily HATES the water, so that won't work.
I have to admit I am questioning her quality of life but am going to give everything longer to work. This sucks so bad. She is losing weight as well.
My husband and son built her a ramp so she doesn't have to be carried down the steps and she seems to like it okay. It is too slick right now but they have a plan for making it less slick so keep your paws crossed. Right now she kind of slides down it. Even with that though I think she likes being a little bit more independent.
Keep praying.

Hi Debra:
Hang in there, maybe as things kick in Emily will get better. I know how you feel, September 17th was the day we made the decision that enough is enough and lets make Tika comfortable for her few remaining days. Luckily, Tika doesn't own a calendar or listen to us. (She's NEVER listened to us!!!!)
Tika rebounded, and she's doing pretty darn good right now considering. I wish the very same for Emily.
GOOD LUCK!

Gong back to the vet tonight. No pee, no poo, no moving at all today. Not a good day.
