Sorry everyone I haven't made a post since day 8.  I didn't want to bore everyone and been busy with stuff and enjoying a few days off.  Sassy is doing really well.  She getting her chauffer every once in awhile.  She did really well on her own with her "brother" on Friday while I did a few hours of shopping she basically slept.  Friday one tramadol all day none at night.  Her Rimadyl was all she got plus her antibiotics.   Saturday was pretty uneventful didn't have much going on so she just slept & went out once in awhile.  Saturday no tramadol all day with a rimadyl in the morning & at night.

Sunday day 11,   Getting cold here again so Sassy has her coat and just has gone out to go potty & back in.  No laying outside.   She has not gotten a tramadol since Friday and that was only one.  Seems to be doing really well.  She has one spot on her leg where the sutures are that looks like it has been bleeding has a crusty scab on it.  I think its because she does kinda rub that when laying down.   Never has bothered the stitches at all.  Have an appointment scheduled for Wednesday to get those out :)

Good luck this Wednesday. I do believe treats are in order! She has come a really long way, and so have you.

So glad to hear all is going well.  She's a good girl for leaving those stitches alone.

Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. So glad everything seems to be running smoothly for Sassy.  I was so relieved when the stitches finally came out, it was one less thing I had to worry about.   Since its cold out, enjoy staying indoors with Sassy cuddled up in a blanket with a roaring fireplace going.  Have a good night and keep us posted.

Sounds like she's doing great. Keep up the good work, Sassy!

Jackie, Angel Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
