Hey Tracy,

I can't wait to see the pics. As for a blog...well, I think it's great if you want to give it a go but with all you have on your plate right now maybe having one less thing to think about will be better for you and the pack? Just post some pics, that will get your feet wet!

As for the food . . . honestly, if she's eating, that's what counts. Once you get her back on a regular eating schedule maybe then think about gradually introducing a new grain-free food (and remember, all dogs are different, what works for one isn't always the best for another). For now, get her to eat whatever that takes. ProPlan isn't the most nutritious but if it works for her now, that's what counts. Good luck!

Ha ha I really needed that.  Well as you know the sane person that I am I spent the day doing dog food comparisons.  I compared Blue Buffalo Wilderness Chicken; Blue Buffalo Wilderness Salmon and the ProPlan Savor Shredds, Lamb and Rice Adult... Now I did this by looking at the bags and going back to the computer for research for each individual ingredient.... yeah I know.... my husband and daughter just shook their heads.  I know Sally I need to be in that special group.

Below is a short video of Bailey doing the pushing of the food out of her bowl... It's the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Salmon...  also I know you can see my fb pictures, there's where all the sweet fur babies are in a album and all over... they are my life...

Sooo tonight I was going through all the paperwork from start to finish from the finding of the C and everything else.  I'm pretty upset with myself for putting her through chemo 5 times... I have a calendar page for each month in front of each bill and explanation sheet on what was performed and then a recheck and hospitalization. OK it's ok to ask WHY I did that... for some reason I'm feeling really guilty tonight and I'm worried about her incision site being cold and that it swells up... I'm hoping it's just in the healing stages still.  Sooo Bailey ate her two cups of ProPlan Savor Shredds Lamb and Rice with no pushing out of her bowl or coaxing or anything.  So if that's what it takes I will try to mix in eventually the better food I guess or just give her home cooked foods.  But she did eat and she did drink the Mississippi which is unusual for her and she's been out a bunch since and she's having accidents while laying down tonight... that's why I'm on here because I'm doing laundry and cleaning her bed. Her whole front leg and paw is swollen but she doesn't have a fever.  Is it 3:30 on 7/17/17 yet.

Anyway, I hope you can see the video, she's a piece of work and I wouldn't trade her for anything and certainly I would never look back and regret it... (but maybe the chemo  🙁    )

 [OK pictures won't post.... I tried the videos also... maybe tomorrow.}

I hope these work if not I will work on them in the morning... thanks guys.  Somewhere, somehow I defeated.  Time for prayers.

Night.

Many HUGS

DARN! It said I had to join FB to see the pics! Do you have any other way to show them? You tube unlisted will work.

REMINDER! Guilt, second guessing...all that wasted energy and time takes .you away from being present with Bailey! AND, you did the fifth chemo because you and your vet thought it.was in her best interest...AND...you would feel guilty too if you stopped at four! That, my dear Tracy, is why you need to get out of that viscous cycle that will never stop and jump right back into your NOW with sweet Bailey! She wants you by her side worry free! And I know you love her enough to do that for her!

You are going to the vet today, right? Have the check.out her leg.and the incision site and get that off your plate. .And the peeing.....isn't this about the time it usually shows up.after treatment anyway and then goes away?

YAAAAAAY FOR BAILEY EATING!!!! Once she gets l a little more food in her you can start trying to.mix in other stuff.

How many times a day do you feed a big girl like that? Maybe two or three meals of a cup, tw o cups, whatever, would work too.

NOW, how 'bout figuring out how us non FB people can see your videos.....then go spend some time with Bailey out in nature and enjoy the bliss of being together.clap

Look forward to your update when you get back from vet.

LOVE.AND HUGS!

Sally and Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!

Sally doesn't the link just take you directly to the post? You will have to teach me how to upload a video on youtube... I'll call you later after the vet or when you have time.

Also, you can join and not put a picture or anything on it just use Happy Hannah...

Miss Bailey gets fed twice a day two cups kibble morning and two cups kibble for dinner and sometimes a snack like whole yogurt or a Bully Stick or something.

HUGS,

Tracy and Bailey

P.S.  She ate breakfast at 9:00 but is still acting weird... trying to play with her and she's just laying their looking at me like really get away (in a snobby voice!) big-blink

Thank you Jerry.  That was before her Round 5 of Carbo.  But she will get back there, I know she will, she's a fighter! She was pretty skinning with staying at the ER with that high fever... but I have good news... just you wait!

Hi. I just read through your posts and looked at your pictures. Your dogs are so gorgeous I had to show the whole family the pictures. Love the one where one is laying her head on the other. I hope Bailey continues to do well.

Crying my eyes out and praying my heart out for each and every one of the fur babies and my support family.  The love and support on this web site... well let's say I would have been in the closet crying a lot more!!! The support everyone gave us especially JERRY AND SALLY any time of night they were always responding.  My heart knows that God will lead us on the right path and help us all through this journey!

Still crying!
