Bad news today. It is his cancer back again. Heartbroken as we have been given a very short prognosis. But he is happy and appears well so we must keep celebrating that xx

Okay, as hard as it was to hear, remember, it changes NOTHING in Panchito's world...only in the human world!!

As Jerry says, "prognosis...schmognosis"...or something like that!!! All it is is a guideline and it does NOT take into account the individual dog!!!

And we all know Panchito is quite the individual!!! He is soooop adorable!!!

Now is the time like no other to sta y in the moment...in the now...in the present...that's where Panchito is!!!!!! Let NOTHING rob you of your time together! That's what this stinking cowardly piece of crap disease does...it tries to make you stay fearful and separate you from being with Panchito!!! Kick it to the curb right now,!!! We're al l kicking with you!!! HA! We smashed it good!!!

Now you can do a little research and see if you can develop a holistic plan. There are all sorts of proven ways to boost his imm u ne system to help him keep this thing at bay.

Panchito IS happy, IS feeling great, IS pain free and IS having a blast! STAY IN HIS BLISS....SPOIL AND LOVE AND EAT ICE CREAM!!!!

Sending you love and.......okay.......here comes that great big group........(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))))))))) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are here with you, right by your side! We aren't going anywhere.....neither is Panchito!!!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

So very sorry to read this ......we all dread hearing this from our vets......I do agree with everything Sally said; look into holistic treatment, and try not to worry about prognosis, be like Panchito and live in the moment....enjoy each and everyday, and hug and love on him as much as possible, and yes, eat tons of ice cream and chocolate....

We are all here for you, and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers....

Darnit, I'm really sorry, I was hoping the news would be different. It know it's hard but keep up your GREAT attitude, you have a good outlook that will help you make the most of every single day. You and Panchito are a great team! This is the time to celebrate your life together, to check off that bucket list of Panchito's, to eat lots of "bad" stuff and take time out to just be with each other...and to of course share your photos with us so we can be right there alongside you. Give him a big sloppy kiss from us and let us know if you need anything at all OK?

I'm so sorry to hear this.  I was SO hoping it was something other than cancer.

As others have mentioned live in the present with Panchito and enjoy every minute you have together...and continue to spoil him rotten.

Nobody knows what sort of time Panchito has so LIVE to the fullest.  I agree with Sally and Bonnie look into supplements to boost Panchito's immune system.  It sure couldn't hurt.

Sending you a warm hug and a kiss on the nose for Panchito!

:-( ... this makes me so sad and angry for you BUT like the others have said, he doesn't know anything is different. Oh how I wish we could all Be More Dog more of the time! Live in the moment.

When we found Shelby's mets, I took some time to  go for a run, cry my eyes out and then come back and be strong for her. Do what you need to do and then come back and be the strength that we know you are!

Shelby's mets didn't really even impact her ... a lot of worry over nothing!

Sending you hugs and love!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

So sorry to hear this news! Pan hits seems to be taking it completely in stride. Everything is still good in his world. I agree with all that was said above. Not ant real wisdoms to offer, just support and caring. Please, please let him have food he really likes! That is the one regret I have. Give him lots of cuddles and just LOVE on him. And like Sally always says dogs don't come with dates stamped on them, they make their own rules. Hugs from, Lori and Ty

So sorry to hear this, Panchito's family. We're going through the same thing right now and it's so hard, but what everyone else said is so true. Panchito doesn't know a thing, and as long as he's still feeling good just try to make every day count the same way he does.

I'm not sure if you have access to any Chinese or Eastern medicine vets where you are in the U.K., but for what it's worth, I think the herbs we're using are slowing the progression of the tumor somewhat, along with K9 Immunity Plus (available through the Tripawds site via Amazon). One of the Chinese herbs is called Yunnan Baiyo, and we get the capsules from eBay or Amazon.

Hang in there and please keep us posted. We're all pulling for Panchito!

Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
