Ria has overcome horrible abuse and come out of it still smiling and full of life! If you're looking for an energetic, cuddly companion, she might be perfect for you. She loves to lay her head on my chest, put her one front paw over my shoulder to give me a hug. Then she tilts her head up and licks my face! She gets along great with other dogs and even cats. It takes her a bit more time to get used to humans because of what she's been through. Read her blog to learn her whole story.
Name and location: Susan - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (I know an organization that has sent dogs to the US for adoption in the past, so international adoption might be possible!)
Age and Date of Amputation: ~8 months now, amputation September 8, 2023
Breed and sex: Female, Malaysian mix (sadly, the hardest to get adopted even if they have four legs because they're supposedly just common street dogs) typically about 35 pounds but Ria is smaller than most and won't be more than 25 pounds
Cause for amputation: Her paw was beaten with an iron rod and was so badly infected the entire front paw had to be amputated.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
If I could afford a third dog, I'd totally adopt her. I'm not sure Tempest would forgive me if I brought another dog home, either. Ria seems like such a sweet pup and she's going to be a nice size. I hope she gets a great home. And thank you for being such a generous foster for her. Fosters who take on animals with special needs are truly special people.
Cannot believe she hasn't found a loving home yet. Well, she jas with you, but I know that not doable darnit 😟
Delightful photo!

Yeah I can see that. Honestly though I think your home is pretty darn awesome for dogs!
And heck if you want to live in a place where people don't complain about having too many dogs, you should come over the ocean to live here in Alaska! My neighbors are mushers and they have 21 dogs (which we get to play with and help out with when they're at work!). There are many mushers in this area, all with at least 12 dogs. In fact people think you're kinda strange if you only have one like we do!
