This just in from our friends at ROAR - Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue in Ridgefield, Connecticut:

Meet Benjamin
DOB: ~ 1/17/2016

Every dog is unique. And, every three-legged dog is extra unique. Tripawd dogs, as they are lovingly referred to, can bring a whole new level of optimism and inspiration to your life with their positivity and upbeat attitude.
Benjamin is just that boy!
Benjamin's weekend foster family said, "He loves every minute of life. Splashing in a creek, chilling out in the house, sunbathing on his dog bed, napping while we watch TV, and doling out kisses. And he handles stairs like a pro."
As you can read, Benjamin is remarkably well-adjusted and three legs don't slow him down.
Benjamin is neutered and micro-chipped, and has all age appropriate vaccinations. His adoption fee is $350.00
ROAR will provide a harness specially fitted for walking Benjamin as he is on the large size and strong.

**For more information regarding ROAR’s adoption policies and procedures, please visit our website at roar-ridgefield.org and select the ‘adopt’ tab on the home page. NOTE: WE ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY so please call if you would like to meet any of our animals.

You guys! We just got word that one year after he entered the shelter, Benjamin is STILL waiting for his forever family. Please share. This guy should not be in a shelter, he needs a home, soon. Thank you for getting the word out.
