individual post approval option ....
Hmm... Karen mentioned the ability to approve individual posts from within the admin queue, but after discussing this with the developers no such functionality has ever existed. Only a "Delete This Post" button is available for moderating individual posts from within the queue. If anyone can prove otherwise, we'd love to see a screenshot.
Forum upgrade coming soon. Really... Check it out now or forever hold your peace. (Use Forgot Password link if you can't log in. Newer members may need to register at test site.)

I told you it was a CRS moment!
I think now that it has to do with how many posts are waiting moderation (or new posts that haven't been read) in each forum topic. If there is just one post waiting, then the buttons say Mark THIS post.... If there are several posts in a forum topic then the buttons say Mark ALL posts... I must be remembering the buttons the way I think they should be (at least in my mind).
So chalk it up to CRS, Senior Moment, or the inherent insanity I obviously display by having pugs!
And I guess I have never had the circumstance of two posts waiting moderation in the same forum topic, and only one should be approved.

Methinks you are correct ma'am. Thanks for confirming I'm not crazy, or that maybe we both are!

Yes, we will keep the Private Messaging system, and it should be more responsive and easier! Feedback regarding use of these other features is gladly welcomed.
Hi I use simple press as well and upgraded to 5.0 due to some bugs which seem to have been solved, however unless I'm mistaken they've removed PM system on it and put it as a plugin add- which requires a membership. Do you find that to be the case and are you a full member?

...is there any way that the post which is not yet approved by the admin should not appear on the forum including its topic created by the user.......
I'm not sure I understand your question the way it is phrased, but post and new topic moderation depends completely on your SPF Admin Permissions settings. If you require first posts to be approved, any topic by a guest or new member will indeed be hidden to all except the admin and moderators until it has been approved. But again, this depends on your settings.
FYI: This tech support forum is provided specifically for use by registered Tripawds members seeking help for using this website. You will find much better support in the SimplePres forums and Wiki. The Plugin also includes helpful tips throughout every section of the Administration area.
