Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

We're back! YAY!
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Yup, it took some doing but we seem to have regained control.

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

Thank you for getting the forums up. But you wanted to know of any unexpected behavior. Blink is trying to eat me which is very unexpected because I'm not edible. Does that count?

Yes, we did incur expenses and lose income with the forums being down for the longest time since we created them in 2008. But this is the nature of the beast when maintaining a network database as large as ours.
Anyone who wishes to help should review the various ways to support Tripawds, and more importantly, encourage others to do the same. Especially with the upcoming holidays — shopping on Amazon, purchasing gifts, books, jewelry, gear and other items all help!
The hardest part of all this, however, was knowing that there were many out their seeking advice and support that we were unable provide during this downtime. The absolute best way to help is, is by helping others — continue greeting new members, providing links to Jerry's Required Reading List

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Hello, this is hhackett, it seems that with all the recent issues my account has been lost somewhere in internet outerspace! Please help! When I try to log in it takes me to this page: http://tripawds.....-login.php, and says "Error: Invalid Username". I also went back and checked under some old posts that I had posted on and it lists me as a guest! I am so sad! Hopefully you guys can recover my post somehow! Thanks!

Damn. We sincerely apologize for this, but in our efforts to get the forums back online and optimize performance to keep the recent issues from happening again we apparently lost some data after all. Some user accounts of members who had blogs with no activity were deleted, and unfortunately they cannot be retrieved. So sorry... we did our best to ensure this wouldn't happen. 
You can create a new account, or we can do that for you if you send us your email address. After that, if we have help finding any old forum posts and topics you started we can reassign them to your new account. This just makes us sick, but it's all we can do at this point.
