Please tell me it's not just me...does anyone else need a magnifying glass to read the signature line text?

You'll be glad to know you aren't the only one going blind. Everything looks tiny to me, but especially the signatures :0

Broke, Broke, Broker!
First, yesterday afternoon, I noticed that the login buttons appeared to be again working. However, there still was a problem with the PM. A message that Cherry had recieved was cut off mid-sentence. In order to test this problem, I attempted to send a "long" message (30 numbered lines) to "Cherry" but unfortunately it went to Romeo2 (Sorry!), but when viewing my "Sent Mail", I see only 14 of the 30 numbered lines.
The latest problem – as I sent this test PM – the site stopped responding. Whenever I attempt to go to this site, I get the usual Windows Message of "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". It is NOT a problem with clearing the catche, which I do at least once daily, but a more fundamental problem with accessing the site (both the Home page and the Forum page). After many attempts over the last 24 hours, I was finally able to get the site to appear when accessing through AOL rather than through my ISP directly. The response is incredibly slow.
I know that I am a pain in the….. but honestly, I am still have extreme difficulties dealing with my personal loss. Please forgive me whenever I sound grumpy. It really is more of an empty soul. I would like to remain part of this community and give back but I am having an incredibly hard time even getting to then onto the site.
Spirit Cherry's Broken Dad
Thank Goodness for Work Arounds,
While using my AOL work around, I just happened to notice that Jerry was online so I attempted to "Chat". We talked through the IE problem and within seconds the problem was fixed. I post this for two reasons. First, a big Thank You Woof for all the support, help, and providing this wonderful environment for the community. Without the efforts of Jim, Rene, Jerry and now Wyatt, I just do not know where my mental state would be now (not that it is anything to brag about.) I also wanted to mentioned that I have read that others have had similar problems and to let them know that if you can get on via a work around, there is hope that your specific problem can be fixed.
Now onto the PM problems.
Thanks again,
Spirit Cherry's Still Broken Dad

I know poor admin is working frantically to try to fix the personal message problems and all of the other glitches. Trust me, he's more distraught than all of us put together!!!!  He's probably not even sleeping trying to fix all our fixes!  This was just suppose to be a 15 minute upgrade. But he was sent some faulty webby stuff from the company that makes the forums!
He'll get us back in order - I have faith. Â
Â
Hang tight my friend Bob!Â
We're all in the same boat and it's not sinking - just running off course a bit. Our brave captain can get us back on course! In the meantime, let's all sing Kumbaya so he knows we are behind him.

You're right about the lack of sleep. But now I have some serious expectations to live up to. Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Yes, we are still addressing the Private Messaging issues. Currently, you can send PMs using the Send PM link above posts, to the author of that post. Composing messages from the inbox has been temporarily disabled. This is yet another "work around" we must live with for the time being. A major overaul of this blog's theme is in the works, which should address most issues ... hopefully all of them.
Please stay tuned. We can't thank you all enough for your patience and understanding.

First, I have all the faith in the world that they will get this problem fixed, and that is from one who as locked themselves out more than once. Both times, Jerry and the Admin staff were able to let me regain my access using the information from the note above. This is so important that I place the site on my IE Favorites and have I have jerry@tripawds.com in my address book. I would hightly recommend anyone serious about helping this community to do the same. Also, when telling them of your difficulties, try to be as specific as possible. As with an MD, the more of an information dump that you can provide, the better the diagnosis. So Miss Cherry and I want to repeat our Thank You Woof for the extreme efforts that have been extended not only now, but over the history of the wonderful site.
Secondly, my personal black mental state is due entirely to the loss of my little girl. My standard for my postings is clear – be as positive as possible, be as upbeat as possible, be helpful, be empathetic to you readers, and be supportive. After loosing Miss Cherry, I have difficulty fullfilling the first two standards. I know that I am not alone feeling this great loss, as many of you have felt your own personal losses equally, but I do not want it show within my postings. So when it does, just ignore my down state and do not make too much of it. After all, I think that there have now been two tearless days in the last three months and I do not cry myself to sleep every night. That is progress and in time there will be more days when I can remember what we shared without loosing it. Just those days are still very rare.

Only thing that I notice right now… is that the text font in the signature boxes is teeny tiny… CometDog said the same thing… Maybe we're both loosing our eyesite!
I haven't PM'd anyone for a while, so I don't know if that's working for me… but I had no problems logging in. I always do it through my blog page… Haven't checked out the chat site for a while… maybe I'll try that tonite and see if I can get it.
But I know you guys are working hard and will get it all fixed eventually…

P.S.
One more change I've noticed. When I click on a forum subject... it brings me to the very last post... and I have to click to get back to the top or the previous page to see what the initial post was all about.
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
it brings me to the very last post
Same here.

Your favicon is gone, too (except in Jerry's blog).

Styles are all messed up. Everything is going to look very different here soon, which will hopefully resolve many of the woes related to clashes with the current theme.
The PM system is still temporarily disabled.
I presume you mean when you click a topic title. (Clicking a forum title takes you to the list of topics in that forum.) Please clarify, because we cannot replicate what you describe. When we click a topic title from forum view (list of topics), we are taken to the first post in that topic. In forum view, you will also notice the Started and Last Post columns whish will always take you to the first and last post in a topic, respectively.
Thanks for all the feedback.
PS: RE: favicon ... this is Jerry's blog. And the favicon is showing in the browser bar as it should. At least it is in Firefox, and Safari.

We'll presume you mean PM, not email, unless you got an email notification that you cannot open for some reason.Â
Speaking of email, check yours for my reply regarding how PMs display now and try again, or reply, or report back here.
