Dear Admin: This is both that I'm technically hopeless and feeling hopeless (about blogging, not Romeo's future thank goodness!). We were so excited to become a supporter blog in honor of Romeo's six month ampuversary. The mystery---I never saw my new blog "True Love, Happy Valentine's Day" in the new blog posts list. I did however get some nice messages from you guys, Shelby, and Jakes Mom so are other people seeing it? It does show up when you click on our blog. Also, only occasionally do I see new our avatar---mostly I see old one in forums or generic attached to our blog. But I think others are seeing it (the new one is Romeo running through leaves, head tilted sideways). I did have a friend clear my cache tonight and refresh, but nothing seems to have changed.
I realize I was supposed to send you a personal message with the clearing the cache problem back in January. Unfortunately I suffered a serious concussion (ice skating 
) and dropped the ball on that. Apologies.
Hopefully posting this helps other bloggers......We did really want to share our post as it talks about kids and their Tripawds

Blogs not appearing in the Active Tripawds Blogs
List is usually the result of their privacy options being set to block search engines from indexing them. Other bloggers fixed the issue by following these instructions for setting blog privacy options.
In summary, visit the Settings -> Privacy tab in your dashboard to ensure the option, "I would like my blog to be visible to everyone…" is selected and your blog should be re-listed automatically.
Thanks for asking, and please let us know if this does the trick. But I am just curious, did you happen to search for "Active Blogs List" in the forums before starting this new topic?
Following the advice above solved it for me! I hope it helps you, too! If not, I bet our wonderful Admin will know what to do!

First, never loose hope. That is just, well... hopeless! 
Now hopefully I can answer your questions:

To which list do you refer? The Recent Blog Posts widget above the Forums and Chat only shows the most recent three posts from all Tripawds Blogs . It is likely that other posts published pushed yours down the list. Your blog updates are appearing on the Active Blogs page which displays many more recently updated blogs.
The only other cause may be that your posts have been backdated. This can occur if you originally draft a post but then publish it days later.

Indeed, if you're receiving comments, people are clearly seeing your blog.
Also, only occasionally do I see new our avatar—mostly I see old one in forums or generic attached to our blog.
As Tazzie noted, your avatar is appearing fine. We are indeed seeing Romeo's head tilted with a big smile among fallen leaves. If you are seeing one previously uploaded it is a likely a matter of ensureing you have cleared the browser cache appropriately. If you have done so, I would suggest viewing your forum and blog comments from a different computer to rule out an issue specific to yours.
FYI: I'm seeing the exact same avatar next to comments you have made in your blog.
Please feel free to announce important blog posts you publish in the Shout Outs forum once it no longer appears in the recent posts widget at top. This goes for all Tripawds bloggers .

Update: If you're referring to the default Tripawds avatar that was appearing next ro your blog in the Active Blogs directory, we just fixed that for you. It appears that you never uploaded a Blog avatar for Romeo's blog, only a User avatar to your profile. I dowloaded your user avatar and uploaded it as your blog avatar too. You can change this via your Dashboard -> Settings -> Blog Avatar tab.
Romeo's smiling face now appears next to your Blog in the Tripawds Blogs directory. Hope this helps.
PS: One more thing... did you happen to join Tripawds as user "Romeo" with a gmail address in July, and then again in August as Romeo2 with your aol email? Just wondering if multiple accounts for you may be the issue, or if we have another Romeo on our hands.

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
No longer hopeless! Belated thank you to admin---everything is working well! New blog, new avatar----THANK YOU!
Also, I'm not sure what the deal was with my computer, but we visited my parents in VT recently and my stepfather cleared a bunch of stuff for me....so we are finally seeing what everyone else is seeing.
Ok, hopefully will not have any tech troubles for a while............
I'm sure we have always used the aol acct since joining in late July 2009, but my partner does have a gmail acct. Hmmmm.... We are the second Romeo apparently.....I remember you told us this when we registered.....Wonder how the first Romeo is?
(And thank you for your concern Comet's mom. I am ok, just had a bad week post concussion and still have some lingering headaches. I can actually skate, but my daughter fell and grabbed for me and down I went!!!)

I think we joined late July, but maybe it was early August. I remember Romeo got diagnosed on July 27 or 29? Later that night I went
to the computer to search for "Jerry's Story" on "Why We Love Cats and Dogs" because (thankfully) we had seen it on PBS earlier.
The first time I posted it was early/mid August. Romeo had his surgery on Aug 17.
And we just celebrated his six month ampuversary in VT!

And we are very happy to hear that Romeo is doing well. Hoppy Ampuversary! 
PS: romeo2 has been a member since August 7, 2009. romeo has been a member since July 15, 2009 and has never posted in the forums.
