Ok. I give up and have to ask for help. I have been totally unsuccessful this evening in adding some new photos to my blog media library (and I've tried both the flash uploader thingee and the other one). Has anyone else had problems or have I simply exceeded my allocated space and should delete some older photos to make room? Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry for the trouble, you were doing nothing wrong. And as a Tripawds Supporter , you have 1GB of allocated upload space, so we doubt you've exceeded that.
There was apparently an issue with permissions on your upload directory. We just resolved it and uploaded a test image to your media library successfully.
NOTE: If anyone else experinces this same upload issue, please report back here with the error pesented to you on the upload page. That will help us quickly fix the problem for you.
The error may look something like tis:
“filename.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/tripawds/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/113/files/2010/12.

I, too, am flabbergasted. I have photos on my media page, they say they are attached to a page of my forum, but I don't know how to see them...
Sorry for the frustration, perhaps a bit of clarification will help.
You are looking at the Tripawds forums here. Images uploaded to your Media Library can be easily included in your blog posts using the "Add Images" button in your post editor, or embedded in forum posts following these instructions.
You have done a good job at resizing your photos, so you have nt exceeded your 25 MB upload space quota (Supporter blogs get 1GB). And there is no longer any issue regarding permissions on your upload directory, which was the reason for this topic.
So, for step by step instructions, we highly recommend you review our Media Library Video Tutorial. In short, images must be added to your posts for them to display.
The fact that an image is "attached" to a post only means that it is associated with that post for easy reference when drafting or editing that specific post. This saves you from scrolling through your entire Media Library when adding images to a post.
Click the small "Add Images" button directly above your post editor to access any attached images for that post, or upload new ones. Doing the latter will automatically attach tem to that post. This will present you with a list of images to choose from. Select the one you want and click insert into post.
Please review the Help video for further detail or start a new topic and we'll try to provide better direction. Feel free to send a PM and we can schedule a time to walk you through this via the live chat.
