Hi Admin Guy,

I can't re-size pictures I insert from my blog into forum posts.  It used to be that there were little size boxes on the photo once you inserted it and you could drag to make it bigger or smaller.  I can't do that anymore- I don't get the little boxes in the photo corners.  When I first paste the image location in the dialog box I suppose I could change the picture size by changing the numbers- but they don't maintain the aspect ratio so the pics end up distorted.

I'm not sure when this started- I just recently tried to insert some photos and noticed I couldn't change size.

I am on my iMac and using Firefox, cleared cache yesterday.

Hmmm...

We just confirmed that the image re-size handles are indeed still available in the post editor using Firefox for Mac OS X. Try again as we just updated the TinyMCE editor, and that may have resolved a temporary issue you described.

FYI: This is a browser thang, Safari still does not allow manual re-size of images. The only other way to re-size images is to enter the dimensions and do the math to retain aspect ratio. Finally, any images inserted in forum posts will be automatically resized to 460px wide if not manually re-sized to smaller than that first.

PS: Your images are HUGE! smiley

Thanks, once I can log on to my Mac I'll try again. I never use Safari on my Mac- always Firefox.
I know most of my pics are big- thus the need to resize. I have been a little lazy loading them in my blog- whatever size they are that gets loaded. I'll try to be more aware of that when I load new pics.
