Admin, is there a known issue with posting Amazon links now? I had problems posting a link & or linking it. It appears only to be Amazon links. I had no issue with a Chewys link. I'm not sure if it is Tripawds or an Amazon issue.

It works as usual until you hit post. Then the link is no longer lit and when you directly paste the link you get the kindle were sorry image?
When I tried to pm the link to Samantha - doesn't work either

Short answer: Yes.
Amazon links will no longer display anywhere on the Tripawds Blogs network.
This is intentional. Don't get us started...
To Summarize: After 16+ years of driving hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales to Amazon, they canceled our affiliate count without notice, leaving the current balance unpaid. No explanation was provided other than a "violation of terms" which we appealed as a clear misunderstanding. Bots likely denied our claim. As clear as we tried to make it that proceeds "help keep this community online" we were shut down for suggesting that affiliate sales support the Tripawds Foundation 501c3 public charity. This, on top of them shutting down the Amazon Smile program led to deep contemplation.
With countless Amazon links throughout all our sites, and no more revenue from any of them. We took challenging efforts to ensure all links were removed. The steps we had to take will apply to any future Amazon links posted to this site.
Yes, this was a difficult decision, as we too only provide links to products we believe others will find helpful. In efforts to support businesses directly rather than the behemoth, we encourage sharing links directly to the product manufacturer's website.
If sharing products only found on Amazon, we recommend copying and pasting the entire product title and letting readers know the item can be found on Amazon.
