I'm not altogether sure what the differences are between google.com and google.co.uk, but just to say that in the UK version, Tripawds comes up on the first page for every pet amputation related term I searched. Of course, I know you've been hard at work making changes, so it might just be down to that.
Anyway, I'm delighted it does and I'd like to do whatever I can to help keep it there. If Tripawds hadn't come up when I was searching one night three and a half years ago, desperately, for a glimmer of hope, Meg would not be here, and that is the cold hard truth.

Totally forgot to thank you for this news Clare! We appreciate your searching and letting us know.
Admin is still working on bumping up our ranking, which is better but not ideal. So yeah, anything you want to do to boost us in results is greatly appreciated. Asking for your vet's website to link to us, letting friends and family know, etc., is always helpful.

I just got a new phone a couple of days ago. My old one was having issues and needed to be retired.
I mention this because the first time I came in the site did not recognize me at all and I was totally slammed with pop ups of ads for things here, I think it was the books. Every time I "x'd" the ad away I was hit with another and another and I could not even sign in. If I were a total stranger I would have walked away thinking this was not a good place to visit.
I am mentioning this here because I wonder if that factor may be hurting Tripawds.
I finally got back in and as soon as I signed in it stopped.
If this makes no difference please disregard, if it helps then I'm glad I mentioned it.
Hugs,
Jackie

New visitors were presented with one pop-up for the Tripawd Heroes e-book, which displayed no more than three times. Clicking/tapping the "Never see this again" link would immediately stop any further pop-ups. Clinking the "x" three times would do the same.
I wonder if that factor may be hurting Tripawds.
The use of pop-ups has a debatable impact on SERP placement, but we have since removed them to analyze the results...you must have seen the last of them as we've been working on this recently.
We've actually been contemplating this for quite some time, as this does have a noticeable impact on e-book sales, and response to the email sequence subscribers receive when opting in to get the helpful information sent when they download Tripawd Heroes.

I think the way they popped up immediately after you closed one out was the frustrating and worrisome part.
Can you limit the amount and how quickly they pop up? I agree that they can be helpful, maybe giving somebody a chance to let the pages load and read your opening page before one pops up would be more effective?
When the pop ups started I didn't even count how many, I just got instantly frustrated and I love you guys, lol. I know I'm old fashioned in some ways but the rapid pop ups have always been a signal to be careful for virus activity and maybe not go any further.
This is just my honest opinion and feedback. I didn't know if anybody else had brought it up and I thought it might be helpful to you.
I love the digital media you provide and it really is very helpful. The pop up allows people to find it easily and that's definitely a plus.

FYI: The pop-ups only appeared upon page load.
Thanks for the feedback!
