This is a great volunteer job for anyone who enjoys online research. We need help compiling a current list of organizations that can help cover the costs of amputation surgery. Is anyone up for the challenge?
We currently have three places in our community where we list financial assistance resources to help pay for vet bills. But these lists are outdated. I'm also certain that other organizations have sprung up since then.
The ideal volunteer will consolidate our lists and research new organizations to include in the document. And extra credit and sloppy kisses from Wyatt Ray goes to anyone who wants to periodically update it.
PM me if you are interested.

Just bumping this up again.
Is anyone out there willing to help update our Financial Resources for Veterinary Care information?
Anyone?
Bueller?
We had a Tripawds Helpline caller who desperately needs financial assistance in addition to what our ASAP grant can provide, and our current list of financial resources is soooooo outdated but it was all we had at the moment to share. This is one of those projects that we never seem to have time to do but is badly needed.
Please see these old blog posts to get an idea of what needs updating:

Thank you for giving this some thought.

I'll be glad to serve as an "assistant" to someone in some sort of capacity that's not necessarily "on-line research", or creating a "document form". Perhaps I could be helpful if follow up phone calls are involved or follow-up emails...,maybe????
Or maybe just by dividing the lists you've noted with someone to confirm they are still in existence and then they could be added to the updated list....mayve??
You're just looking for the link, right? Not a comprehensive explanation of what's covered/involved, etc.
Anuway just throwing that out there if I can help in some secondary form.
Bueller😉
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Hey thanks Sally. That's sweet of you.
We need two things: 1) to confirm that an organization is still giving out assistance, and 2) finding new ones that have popped up since we created those lists. Both take some internet research to just to get a general description of who these organizations will help.
Hope that makes sense.

Hey Tripawds Peeps! We can use some help updating our Financial Resources List.
We need two things: 1) to confirm that an organization is still giving out assistance, and 2) comparing a couple of existing PDF lists of other financial orgs to see if we have them on our list. And if we do not, add those orgs to our. Both take some internet research to just to get a general description of who these organizations will help.
Thanks for considering it!
