Hi everyone,

If you are interested in getting your Tripawd started on CBD, we have a way for you to get expert guidance, at little or no charge! Read this week's Tripawds Nutrition Blog post for details. In short, it says:

Tripawds Needed for Veterinary Cannabis Case Studies

THIS JUST IN! The Veterinary Cannabis Education and Consulting crew is seeking Tripawds members interested in cannabis therapy for their pets–at free or low cost!

Members will partner with veterinary technicians and other professionals who are training to be a Veterinary Cannabis Counselor (VCC). In exchange for becoming a student’s case study, pet parents can receive customized cannabis treatment for their dog, cat, or other animal.

  • The process can be done entirely online.
  • It doesn’t matter where you live. But your location might determine which cannabis products are selected for treatment.
  • Pet parents must have the patience to work closely with a VCC student in training.
  • Four-legged pets are also welcome, as well as birds, reptiles, and any other vertebrates!

Students are really in need of case studies. Your participation can further the understanding of cannabis treatment in the veterinary field. If you are interested in helping more veterinary professionals to understand cannabis therapy and help it become more mainstream, please reply below or contact us for details!

This is such a ground breaking  project.  Goodness knows there's a lot of buzz about CBD, what's effective, what's  not....or even if any of it is effective  at all.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I agree Sally. I'm so glad this group is out there making sure that we reach for the right products that really help, and not wasting our money on junk. I really believe in what they are doing and hope that Tripawds members take advantage of this opportunity. I sure would if I had a dawg right now!

Hey Tripawds community!!

Thank you SO much for being willing to work with our Veterinary Cannabis Counselor students as they are looking for case studies!  We are so appreciative of pet parents who are looking for good cannabis information for their animals....but are also patient enough to let a student learn!

Thank you all ♥️

Just bumping this up after seeing some incredibly bad advice on Faceborg about pet CBD products. The VCEC is still seeking case studies for cannabis guidance. If you would like proper guidance for an effective cannabis therapy for your pet, please reply to this post or contact us. Thanks!

Is the study looking at CBD for managing pain, anxiety, something else?  If it includes anxiety, I would be interested for my tri.

Hi there! It's not a specific study per se, but rather they are looking for ways to help pets feel better from whatever condition they are suffering from, through the use of targeted cannabis products. They are not affiliated with any company, which is why we endorse their work.

So for a pet who has anxiety, they will look at the overall health of the dog or cat, recent labs, conduct an interview (can be done remotely), and then recommend the right product to ease anxiety. They do follow-ups, and tailor the dosage according to how the animal is or isn't responding.

Message me if you'd like to participate and I can connect you to a vet or vet technician who is certified to do the work. Keep in mind that it's not always free, but definitely low cost.

Are you looking into cannabis therapy for your Tripawd?

A veterinary technician student on the Veterinary Cannabis Education and Consulting team is in need of a dog or cat, preferably in Canada, who might be able to benefit from cannabis therapy.

If that sounds like you, please message me as soon as possible. Thanks!
