Sally ... what a beautiful tribute to your beloved Hannah! her light shines for all eternity!

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Thanks Alison.....Karen and PUG Maggie certai M lyrics created a "place to call home" for all our furbabies.
Yeah, this is REALLY and "emotional leash" when you look at every single ribbon. ..A dog named Shadow remembered here after just being a tripawd for 12 days...Bud celebrates beating MRSA with his ribbon, Brendol is here next to Sassy...Both became Angels on the same day,....A by. Rio, Troubl..all memorialized here.....okay....gotta stop now....too many tears before heading to work!
CAN NOT wait to see what n you come M up with Shelby!
Sending love and appreciation right back 'atcha'

Thanks for posting all the pictures and video Sally. Hannah's ribbon is beautiful!
It looks like the leash is getting pretty full, I've been trying to decide how to extend it. I was thinking of making another leash the same length and then using something like a collar to hook the now two leashes together. If we need to add more leashes then it will eventually look like spokes on a wheel. Or I could just make another length and hook them end to end... anyone have any ideas?

Sally, thank you for posting these close-up pics of the Leash.......these ribbons are heartfelt beyond words, and Happy Hannah's is so beautiful ......your words about the love you shared with her make me cry......and I agree with everything Alison said to you.
Karen, I think either idea you have with extending the leash are both great ideas.
Love, Bonnie & Angel Polly
Ditto Alison!!!! Sally is just pretty darn special, isn't she? I am so bummed that I could not get down last Saturday to meet her in person. Karen, thank you for the leash project. What a tribute! I will be sending something for my Ty guy. I want him to be remembered always. I just have to find a shoe charm first. Sally Hannah's ribbon so just beautiful. I love how the star is sparkling in the sun. I am so very thankful for the whole Tripaweds community. Thank you all!!!! Lori and Ty.
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
Guess what folks? Three beautiful new ribbons have been added to the Tripawds Tribute Leash ! Karen recently added Angel Ty and Polly's ribbons, as well as Steve the TriKitty!

Luanne and Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
LUANNE!!!! Are you up for doing one for Shooter? It would be lovely to have him "near" all of us!
AND...Happy Hannah's banner just came up when I responded to your post.....soooooo....you KNOW that's a sign you MUST do one for Shooter!!!!

Yes Sally. I've been making one for Smore, but it hasn't come out the way I wanted so I'm going to start over.

Smore is my tripawd kitty who adopted me one summer evening. She had an injury to her front left leg and had to have her leg removed July 17th. She was only 3 or 4 months old at the time. Now she moves faster than some four legged cats!
