Is there any way to know which three clinics are on the Idaho list? I can think of two that I would like to see on the list, but don't know if they are already there.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

A big big big SHOUT OUT to everyone who's helping with this database project! Tripawds headquarters (our dining room table!) was overtaken this week by envelopes and brochures. We sent close to 100 mailers with 25 brochures, display holder & a cover letter. YAY!
In working with the list there's some tweaking that needs to be done on my part, like notating who we know personally (scary how many oncos we've interacted with!) and a few duplicates, but no biggie. As I get time I'll work with it but for now everyone give yourself 3-paws up and celebrate, this is just the beginning!

I am very late to this party, but I wanted to make sure the following vets were on the VA list. (I'm sure Sally already put them in but just to make sure!). They are both with the same vet hospital but they are 1 1/2 hours away from each other.

Actually Elozaeth, I only submitted the Veterinary Referral Critical Care group in Short Pump and my regular vet (Stonehenge Veterinary).
As yoh may recall, my experience with The Oncology Service of Richomd was ...hmmm..."different" from yours.....and I'll just leave it at that! I know it's about getting the word out for Tripawds though, so I'm really glad you submitted them!
And STANDING OVATION to the "Data Base People ( Martha, Michelle and Alison), and to Rene and Jim for getting 2500 ...2 5 0 0 brochures in the hands of people potentially faced with this journey!!

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the mailing.
We're down to about 550 brochures on-hand, and we'll mail about 300 more before we leave Jerry's Acres for the season.
Still need to do the list updates and some DB cleanup but it'll happen soon.
We mailed out "sampler packs" to all of the Universities on the List. What we discovered when trying to get brochures into Colorado State is that there is quite a bureaucracy involved when submitting to an institution. CSU said yes (yay!) but it took about 3 weeks and a committee to agree on them. They now have 300 brochures on hand.
To save postage, and keep enough brochures on hand for those who ask for them, we decided to send only 12 brochures and a cover letter to the operations director at each teaching hospital. This saved us a lot on postage costs too. We are hoping to hear back from these orgs so we can send more, but it will take some follow up emails and calls I'm sure. But that's a whole other project . . . .

Yikes! A whole lotta behind the scenes effort from "headquarters" to get the Tripawd .message out! You've obiously put a lot of thought and effort into making this happen the right way.
So much dang bureaucracy everywhere! Ugh!!
Not sure how you can dole out so e of the actual physical part of the labor in the future, but .aybe so e of us could get the brochures, cover letters, etc.ready for .ailing in the future qith a "stuff and stamp" assisgnment....follow up pho e calls, etc.
