Long-time Tripawds fans know how Jerry's cancer diagnosis inspired us to sell everything we owned and buy a new RV to travel the country, enjoying every remaining moment we had together. This book tells the whole story – from the time we rescued that silly puppy, to his years as our first CFO (Chief Fun Officer), through his amputation recovery, and the two years he led us from coast to coast, as our three-legged co-pilot on the road to happiness.
Be More Dog is more than a memoir about a three-legged dog on an epic road trip. It is a mantra to live by, and this book is the guide. In these pages, we share the many lessons Jerry taught us about how important it is to live in the Now – to persevere when the going gets tough, to never give up, and that every day is a great day, no matter what life throws your way.
Yesh! We are honored that MUTTS creator Patrick McDonnell agreed to write the foreword for Be More Dog . Readers will discover his 2008 “NOW!” strip that touched us right when we needed it most. And MUTTS fans will enjoy the special Title Panel illustration he created featuring our Jerry with his pals Earl and Mooch!

I'm in the middle of reading the book. I can picture every word, and it is like I am right there with them. I won't say anymore because I don't want to spoil it for anyone.
But you gotta get the book!
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

When I went in to Amazon, I clicked on reviews. Under reviews there is an option to leave a review. I think the only difference between the digital copy and the Amazon purchase is that it will say "verified purchase"... it is no biggie. Yes. Though some users have reported long delays or outright denial of their review if the comments are to "friendly" (about personally knowing the authors, for example) or if they have not made recent Amazon purchases.
Of course, All Reviews are welcome on the Be More Dog Product Pages to encourage others to shop directly with the authors instead of via Amazon. Anyone who provides a review(s) on either site is welcome to submit the link here to access bonus material.

Ok, silly me... I have finally had the opportunity to finish reading... very emotional here, what a gripping story. Thank you for sharing such personal experiences.
I went to bemoredog.net and tried to review but it does not seem to want to take 5 stars. This book deserves 5 stars. I can get one, two, three, or four but when I click on the 5 they all turn grey again.
Before I hit the send button I want to make sure it will get the recognition that it deserves.. any helpful ideas or hints? I left review on Amazon too but that always takes a bit of time for them to process.
You guys did a phenomenal job... congratulations!

Yes, after making your review selection the stars will turn solid grey.
When hovering over the stars, they will turn solid orange.
Any stars that are not selected will be outlined, not solid. So, click to select 5 stars and you will notice them all turn solid orange – indicating a five star review. Move your mouse and they will turn solid grey. Select only four, and notice how the fifth star remains outlined, not solid – indicating a four star review.
