Congratulations, Hannah! Sorry we weren't here yesterday but this just means the pawty goes on longer, right? Evelyn would love to celebrate with deer poop, I'm sure, but she'll have to take a pass. I think we'll split a slice of the raspberry pie I made yesterday without really knowing why I made it. Now I know! It's for Hannah's pawty! clown

I'm afraid Murphy's ampuversary photos will have to wait. Day or two. He went with his Dad and Gus to close up the cabin this week. That dreaded "s" word was on the ground this morning. Maybe he will find some deer poop under it, though, to have for his celebration. Or maybe even some elk poop...bigger, so it must be better tasting, right? I'll give hm extra beans when they get home.

Kathi

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Yay Hannah for 7 months. You are such a lovely, amazing and hugable girl. I bet you give the best kisses ever when you don't have your baby doll. Now get ready for another 7 months.

Wahoooo!  Hannah, you're looking mighty good!  Happiest of happy ampuversaries, you big girl!  WAHOOO!!!

BTW - seeing her munch on tasty deer poop....could THAT be contributing to her weight gain?  How's that going?  Any improvement?

Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. KATY AND JACKSON! Thanks for the good wishes and sending some right back to Jackson! I think the bunny poop is pretty low-cal...just like eating a tasty bowl of grass. Of course, it's when she tops it off with whip cream and chocolate syrup that the calories are added! Hapy Hannah just had a "weigh-in" yesterday and hasn't lost any weight...nor has she gained any, so that's good! As it's getting a touch cooler here, I make sure she's more active when we go outside. Isn't it about time for a blog update on Fetchon Jacks ? Yeah, pretty sure it is!!

Tomorrow is Jackson's 9 month!  I'll post for sure!

Whipped cream on poo?  Hmmmmm?  Whatever works!  What did you do to keep her from gaining weight?  That's step one and you ladies sailed over it with colors flying!  Yipppeeee!

Whaddaya mean, "leave it"?

Gus, go get your own beans! photo DSCF0041_zpsbf5c60fa.jpgImage Enlarger

Hey, Gus...those are MY beans.  Go get your own.

I've been out of town for a few days helping my son after hip replacement surgery (I guess it runs in the family).  Anyhow, Murphy and Gus are sharing a few beans in honor of Happy Hannah's number 7 and Murphy's number 10.  Those are the purple ones, which both of them think are just as good as the green ones.  This was the most difficult "leave it" I can remember with Murphy.  He absolutely did NOT want to stay put while I got the camera focused on him, as you can tell from the coiled spring body language.
