When my girl had her rear leg removed due to nasty cancer 6 months ago, I certainly didn't know what to expect. However,  with all of your encouragement,  we got through those REALLY ROUGH first weeks. I was only hoping she would see her 13th bday in September. Then, I only hoped she'd see another Christmas. Here we are, in the new year. Molly J is one incredible wonder mutt! She once again runs circles around her 4-year old pup sister, Cece.  Her appetite is lovely most days. She runs amuck through the house, with her headless duck in her mouth. When she hears a good beat on the radio, she once again brings me her rope for a dance and tug session. A couple weeks ago, she took a 2 mile hike up a mountain and was soooooooo happy to stomp in the woods once again. She only needs help in and out of the car, as well as on and off the bed. Thanks, Tripawd peeps, for all of your support, not just for me and my girl, but for all pet parents going through the journey.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

This is a fact.  We celebrate EVERY month because each one is a gift and a blessing.

Love reading stories like Molly J's.  13 and not letting something like cancer get in her way.  Too Awesome!

Happy Ampuversary, Molly J!  Hope to read about many, many, more.
