VIDEO: A window into my dog's (and probably your dog's) brain

I stumbled across this video completely by accident, and was shocked to discover that someone has actually recorded the actual thoughts in my dog's brain.  The lyrics to this song are exactly what Linda is thinking at any given time, and I suspect the horrible music is what constantly echoes around in Bernie bin Laden's deranged cranium.  I can't stop laughing every time I see this.  It just gets better and better.

Wow! Those people own a lot of socks! I don't think we have that many here. But I think I know where all the missing socks go...to that house.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Oh good- I thought I was the only one teaching my dog to play with socks... one of those things you should NEVER teach your dog!

Obie is a dog that likes socks, he prefers them fresh off mom's hoof. I pull one off a little ways, then say 'sock game' and he pulls it off my foot, tosses it in the air a couple of times, then runs off to the living room with it.

I'm very, very lucky. None of my dogs has ever liked socks!

But I know of one greyhound who loved socks .. well, boots, really.  Dog boots.  After a long, difficult-to-diagnose illness, he had FIVE removed from his stomach, one of them made of leather!    He recovered nicely, and his owners were very careful not to leave them around any more.

I saw that video the other day and thought of our girl. Abby LOVED our socks. We used to call her a "sock sucker." big-grin

Almost every time we would come home from being out without her somewhere (rare though that was!), we'd find her curled up with one of our socks. It was kinda sweet actually...

She used to even steal my fluffy slipper-socks right off my feet!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Bahahahahaha! I like socks but not that much. Maybe those socks have an extra special smell to them? I wonder what it could be?
