It is official Tiffany made the front cover of the 2014 calendar cover of the limb preservation foundation calendar. AND she is also Miss July! It was a great experience. I captained a table for the fundraising breakfast and for this Christmas season I am sending the calendar to family and friends and asking them to donate what they would have spent on a gift for us.. As the best gift is to donate funds in her name to further research both for animal and humans.

I will try and see if I can get the photo into a post...

That is wonderful. Is there a link or a site for the calendar? Our Misty was a limb sparing pup before losing her battle with osteosarcoma.

Wowee! That is awesome! Many many congrats, can't wait to see the winning ph oto.

The Limb Preservation Foundation is a fantastic organization. Their work began because of Steven Withrow, a famous CSU veterinary researcher who developed the limb sparing surgery for dogs, which was then transferred to use in humans. The group formed to further this important procedure.

While in Colorado we've had the opportunity to meet kids who had limb sparing surgery performed in order to save their limb(s) after an osteosarcoma diagnosis. They are incredible and a real testament to the power of funding research for canine cancer, which ultimately benefits humans.
