Freaky!  I have terrible fears about driving off a cliff!

Her Retired AvatarComet - 1999 to 2011

She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.

She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Aloha! I'm just catching up after a dreamy week of what I think might have been paradise. After reading your posts Shanna about leaving your doggies behind, I can totally relate.   I left my two with my good friends who stayed at our house.  So from that standpoint, it was great as I didn't have to worry too much but of course I did worry and thought a lot about Mackenzie and how she was handling me being away from her (leaving beaucoup instructions and checking in every day smile)   And then at moments I thought about the fact that I'm away from her for a week which means one less week that I get to spend with her….crazy thoughts….but I do have to say that I had a wonderful time, saw some beautiful rainbows, sunsets and dolphins…..but the best part was coming home only to be  greeted by some jumping golden hyenas.  Sweet!

…And Prettypants, this isn't the place to keep secrets!  You should have known better than to tell Comet if you didn't want us all to find out!

And you got that right – no secrets around here!

Welcome back and to Bob too (how scary that must have been witnessing that bad parking job!)

Kami

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!
