No problem 🙂 If it is attached I would not worry about it. In most cases the flimsy ones that are unattached and fly free are the ones that get into trouble

Rocky, you sure do have a creative way of letting your Dad know you are still orchestrating things from the Bridge 🙂
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
It feels as though it's an unattached dew claw. So I guess that's something I'm going to have to look at whenever he gets his teeth cleaned.
I left the bandage on when I went to work, but he had it off by the time I got home. It doesn't seem to be bothering him too much tonight, although he's tried to lick it a few times. He doesn't realize I still have Rocky's cone of shame ... lol.
Rocky definitely lets me know he's still around. I don't know that Baxter or I need him using dew claws to do it ... lol.

I haven't been around in awhile, so I thought I'd drop in to say hi and see how everyone is doing.
Baxter is still doing well, chasing rabbits and squirrels. He also found a dead lizard in the yard. He brought it in and took it to my bed. It's the thought that counts.
One of my parents' dogs (Ripple) is having laser surgery today for the glaucoma in his remaining semi-good eye. It's pretty much a last-ditch effort to keep him from going completely blind. But both of my parents dogs have also had to have pathologies done on lumps. Thankfully those came back negative.
And, of course, I come back here and the first banner I see is Rocky's.
Hope everyone is doing well.

So good to hear from you! The dead lizard in the bed....what a special thoughtful gift Baxter gave you!!
Ugh! Reminiscent of the horse head in bed in The Godfather!!
Really, really sending all the pawsitive energy we can muster that surgery is successful for Ripple. Please let your parents know we are all hoping for food results. Update when you can.
I love that Rocky popped jn to say "hi" when you checked in.☺💖
Hugs, and extra hugs to Ripple and Lizard Wrangler Baxter

Hi David!
You must have been getting vibes, lol... I was just wondering last night how you were doing. Baxter and lizards.. so much fun eh? Mine hunt lizards and snakes but unfortunately I have not had the true blessing of having one deposited in my bed
Glad you and Baxter are getting along well, I hope Ripple's procedure went well!
Please give Baxter a big ole smooch from us

David! I was thinking about you and Rocky when I saw his banner yesterday. Wow!
It's good to hear from you, and know that the pack is happy and healthy. I hope Ripple's laser surgery goes well and he gets better vision. Don't you just love the medical care our animals can get now? Amazing.
I LOVE Baxter's thoughtfulness 😉 Haha NOT. That's pretty gross but funny

Hehe, Hi David and Baxter!
Yup, we’ve all had you in our minds and heart! How wonderful to hear from you! I am sorry you had a dead lizard in your bed, but heh, beggars can’t be choosers can they?! Hehe, a chocolate bar would have been far more appealing!
You know it’s alright that you have been away for a while when Rocky greets you at the Tripawds door! We all understand! Especially when you have so much going on with your furmily! Best wishes to you all and thanks 🙏 for negative pathology reports for your parents!
Massive hugs to you all!

I went to one of those sandwich places that puts a dill pickle in with your sandwich. I don't like pickles, so I just tossed it in the bag when I got home. And then I forgot about it. Later that night, I heard Baxter tear through the bag, which I had left on my coffee table. By the time I got to him, the pickle was gone.
I still can't get him to play ball, but he LOVES to go on walks. And he LOVES to try to chase after squirrels and (especially) rabbits. In this pic, he's spotted a rabbit across the street. He'll stop and stare like that until the rabbit moves and then he tries to drag me with him on the chase.
Also, Ripple is back home with my parents after having his eye surgery. He still has vision in that eye, so it apparently was a success. They'll know more in 4-6 weeks just how successful it was.

LOL, I would have loved to see the look on his face eating that pickle!!
He looks like a happy pup, I'm glad you found things that you like to do together 😉
He is a very handsome boy 💖
I am really glad that Ripple did well, thank you for updating!

Thrilled that things should be working out for Ripple. Made my day!!😊
And it also made my day and had me laughing as I visualized how much Baxter enjoyed that pickle!! He has "unique" taste!
Love that photo of him. He's soooo laser focused on that bunny! Yum, yum, bunny sandwich with pickle...RUN BUNNY! Nope, no ball chasing for Baxter, that was Rocky's deal
GREAT UPDATE! And have your parents five Ripple a scoop of ice cream for is😎

Baxter didn't seem to have any ill effects from the pickle. No green poop or anything like that. Although he ran head first into a sign post trying to chase a rabbit last night. Even that didn't really slow him down though. We also came along some ducks on the walk. He decided ducks are good to chase as well.
We'll probably see Ripple this weekend. I'd pass along the ice cream suggestion, but he's on a diet now too after also being diagnosed with pancreatitis.
