We were so saddened to hear the news that after almost a year of living life to the fullest, TJ earned his angel wings in March.
Please give a big group hug to TJ's Dad, Paul, who sent the community a generous gift in honor of TJ's life.
It's always a big honor when pawrents think of us during their time of grief. Thank you so much Paul.
Paul wrote to tell us:
Thank you all for the support and information.... I doubt that my TJ would have had as much time as he did without the great information I learned from all the other tripawds that came before him.

There's been so much sadness during the last few weeks. With all of the grief and tears flowing throughout this community, we are especially honored to be thought of during times this.
Today the Tripawds Nation received a generous gift from Angel Shooter's Mom, Luanne, who writes:

Happy Hannah touched everyone in the Tripawds Nation. Another member who was especially moved by her love for life (and sweets!) generously sent a gift of support to the community this week and we thank them with all our love.

LIZ!!!!!!! I jist now saw you and Roxie Roo Rooooooo's incredibly generous and toughtful contribution. To kow that Happy Hannah has touched lives to the point that someone wants to hoor her.....crying like a baby over here!!! And I know you are still feeling the sadness from Roxy's transition too.
And, altnough Roxy was with us waaaaaay to short...she and Liz definitely touched our lives, that's for sure. I've jad the honor of becoming a PM friend with Liz as a result of this journey. I can tell you, she is one thoughtful and compassionate and FUNNY human being!! If we all have to be n this journey, these types of friendshis are the silver lining!

I have privatel ackowleged Stirling's thoughtful remembrance but just wanted to make a post here too. I am HONORED, so very, very ho ored, to be a friend of Stirling's and Tahoe.

Over the weekend the Tripawds Community received two very generous gifts from our friends:
Shahrzad Arasteh contributed in honor of her beloved Kitty Bell, who became an angel four years ago on July 13, 2010.
We were also deeply touched to receive a thoughtful gift from Esther and Don Brown, in honor of their strong, courageous Angel Snoop, who earned his wings on July 10. During such a tremendous time of loss and grief, it leaves us speechless when a Tripawd family member thinks of the community. This speaks volumes about the kind of caring, thoughtful and compassionate people that Esther and Don are. We will miss Snoop tremendously and do our utmost to carry on his legacy in the community.

As you know, birthdays are such significant milestones that can bring a flood of emotions when our beloved companions are no longer here on earth with us. In the midst of coping with Polly's 10th birthday and her first as an angel, we received a generous gift from Bonnie, who writes that her contribution is:
"in honor of a few very special friends to me here. The first and foremost, is Sally and Happy Hannah...for all that Sally does for EVERYONE here including myself...
The second is all those that have become special and very supportive during my time here, Claudia and Jersey Girl, Elizabeth and Jake, Alison and Shelby, and Lori and Ty .....there are so many others, but this small group of us all lost our precious Tripawds within a very short amount of time, and we kind of have our special lifeline with each other.

Oh My Dear Sweet Bonnie and Polly...........ohhhh my, to be thought of and honored by such a loving and compassionate soul, and on a day that means so much.....the celebration of Polly's birth.....I'm literally just sitting here shaking my head in awe of your kindness.
I could never adequately express what it means to HappyHannah and myself to be remembered this way.....to be remembered in a way that supports this most unique and one of a kind site that offers love and support and education to others on this j o urney.......to be remembered with Elizabeth and Jake

I saw this last night and was speechless and I am still speechless and overwhelmed with love and emotion. I cannot express properly how much it means that my Shelby was included ... I know she celebrated w/Polly over the bridge. In fact I know Shelby is being a little pest to all those "bigger' dogs (Shelby always thought she was double the size she was )...
This community has become my new family, my lifeline, my connection to Shelby. I cannot imagine NOT being here. It would be akin to MY losing a limb (which I know I would never handle with the same dignity as our Tripawds).
You all have been so kind to me, so helpful, to warm... through my mixture of emotions. This is truly the ONE place I felt safe right after Shelby passed and safe when I brought Jasper home. Thank you doesn't do it justice.
I love you all and my hope is that one day I get to meet ALL of you in person! Until then, I send many virtual hugs and so much love!!!
And yeah. that's PURE joy in Shelby's face, eyes, pre-amp but probably in a bit of pain... my brave girl.

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Oh my goodness, I don't even know what to say. I am in tears. Bonnie sent me a message to look over here and I never ever would have imagined this is what for. Today is my Jake's 6 month angelversary, to KNOW he is celebrating with Polly (& her sidekick Maggie), Happy Hannah, Shelby, Jersey Girl, and Ty brings a HUGE smile to my face. I can see them so clearly all running around together. Just as Sally said, we are all kindred spirits and I know our pups are too. I could not imagine getting on here and not hearing what's going on in your lives. I am kind of a nerd (ok a really big nerd that loves numbers), and the number 6 is THE perfect number. When I saw all 6 of them posted together, all I could think was YES, they are the PERFECT 6!
Bonnie, for you to think of us during your celebration of Polly's birthday is absolutely amazing. When I first joined here, I was pleading for help for my Jake. I had lurked for many months. When everyone jumped in to try to help, I was floored. The community, the outpouring of love and kindness, just blows my mind. Thank you so so much for remembering my Jake. There are just not enough thank you's. HUGS and much love to you!

Oh, I. LOVE it. the perfect 6! I am so honored to have my Ty Guy remembered in such a special way. Thank you so much. I am also honored to be a part of this special group. I agree, we were brought together by our dogs' journey, and what better way to honor our angels than to keep this bond strong. Bonnie and Angel Polly, Thank you for including us! Love from, Lori and Ty. Ps: I have been without Internet for awhile. That is why I am just now seeing this.
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
