Today is Jill's ONE YEAR Ampuversary! I am so proud of my little hero and cant express how thankful I am to this community for helping us get to this point. I am pleased to say she had a wonderful check-up on Tuesday and remains cancer free! It's been a long year with a few hiccups along the way, but what's most important is that she's happy and healthy and living life on three legs!
I hope you enjoy this tribute video I made of her journey over the past year!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. "Like" Jill's facebook page: https://www.fac.....tty?ref=hl Proud member of the WINTER WARRIORS!!!! Her blog can be read at http://jillsjou.....ipawds.com. xoxo

Happy one year Jilly Bean!
You and your mom are a wonderful part of our community, so we can also celebrate your year of contributions to Tripawds!
I just cooked up a chicken last night so the pugs will get green beans AND chicken gibbies to celebrate tonight.

Little Jilly-Bean... First, I must apologize for your mom as she keeps dressing you up and you just don't look amused. She can't help herself. Second, WOOHOO. You keep on keeping your mom on her toes little girl. One year down and many more to go.
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.
You can read their stories at http://adelaide.tripawds.com and http://brendol.tripawds.com
WHOOT, WHOOT, WHOOT!!!
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
PEEEEEEEPPER! You've got me in tears over here!! What a wnderful tribute!!
The first time she tried so hard to jump on the bed...and then made it...WOW!! I jumped up and applauded!!
And then each time she didi it better and faster and with no effort!

Congratulations Jill and Erica, a year is pretty remarkable and so important to celebrate. Who knew when you joined us that you would become such a great role model for current and future Tripawd kitties everywhere? At such a scary time, we can't thank you and your momma enough for joining us to share the ups and downs. Throughout it all you both have done so much to help out here in so many ways and especially to educate us about a feline's life on three legs. Your contribution is priceless. Thank you so so much.
I'm so hoppy that we can be present to celebrate this milestone with you! WOOO HOO! It's JILLY DAY!!!

Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013.
