Some day, I will have enough time to truly be a presence on the forums and maybe even volunteering. Right now I am broke broke broke so working 2.5 jobs. I have been working sick the last few weeks but finally got so sick the doctor yelled at me and told me to stay home. Ok, she told me to stay home for 3 days and I worked two of them. I'm not always compliant 😛 I am glad I worked yesterday because there's a family I've connected with and yesterday their dog got her leg amputated. I gave them this website and told them how great you all are. I don't know if they will join, but hopefully they are reading all the great resources.

This really is one of the best places I have ever found onliine. Thank you to Admin and Renee and all the members who make this place amazing.

You are such a sweetheart, always thinking of everyone but yourself. Take care and get well, Floyd and Cora (how are they?), and all of us, need you my friend. Thanks so much for your kind words and letting the new Tripawd pack know about us. We hope to see them too!

Okay, listen up!!!  You are stressed and you've been sick and under financial  pressure.   But did you really think you could get away with making a post without including  a picture of Cora and Fred?    We'll let it slide this time because  you really are on overload

I really am sorry  you are having such a bad time.  I agree with Michelle , you MUST try and take care of yourself.   I know taking time off from work and not getting paid when you need money so badly is soooo hard, but it will only make matters worse if you don't  get well.

All I can say is , every time  you've  been faced with seemingly  insurmountable challenges, somehow you find a way to you climb over them and move forward.  And you will this rime too.

We're  all gonna send out some good pawsitive energy  your way to help heal you in every aspect  of your life❤

Love and hugs

Awww, you all are always so nice. And Salty, you made me laugh.

Fred... I mean Floyd winker is doing well. He must know I'm sick because I haven't been walking him which normally means he becomes a complete ass. He's a partial ass, but managing to mostly contain himself.

Cora is .... overall she's been doing well. Yesterday and this morning have been rough. Sunday night she was in the kitchen and the floor was wet and she literally did the splits. And it clearly hurt and she's been sore and grumpy since. I've been resting her and giving her tramadol. If it's not better in a few days I will take her to the vet. Based on how she's walking, I really don't think she injured herself badly. The weather has also shifted and she has arthritis and doing the splits can't have helped any of that.

The cats are doing well (Franklin and Fezz). In fact I am quite pleased. Franklin the feral kitty has finally settled in and hangs out in the living room and lets me pick him up and put him in my lap!!!!!!!! This has taken years. He and Floyd still have issues but now they just make a lot of noise at each other. They typically just make some noise and then one of them backs down. Often times now it's Floyd.

My bunny passed away a couple weeks ago 🙁 She was old. It felt very sudden me to me. It all happened in about 48 hours. I noticed she was blinking her eye more than normal and two days later I'm trying to find an emergency vet that will take bunnies. Her eye was so infected it was unlikely to be saved. She would need surgery. She was also starting to show signs of an upper respiratory infection. So I let her hop over the rainbow bridge.

Sally, I will come back and add pictures. I'm out of time for today.

Well thanks for returning with the latest news. I'm so sorry about your bunny! It's an achievement in itself that she lived to old age, many do not. You cared so well for her right up to the very end, what a great bunny advocate. I wish there were more of you in this world!

Tell Cora we are so sorry about the spill. It always looks so painful to see any dog wipe out like that on a wet floor, but it's even harder watching a Tripawd do it! If the Tramadol doesn't help, ask your vet for a muscle relaxer like methocarbomol. Wyatt Ray takes it regularly to help with his tight muscles on his one rear leg.

Floyd. Floyd. Floyd. Poor baby, he's so neglected 😉 Well hopefully he will ease up on giving you a hard time about being temporarily down for a bit. Crazy pup!

Yay for happy kitties! What patience you have shown Franklin, it's finally paid off with snuggles. That's so cool!

Now it's time to take care of YOU, got it? The animals are in a good place, so be sure to get yourself there too 🙂
