Hi all!  We've been absent but just busy - Ajax is still going strong 5 years after his amputation and a variety of other things which many of you will remember... And turning 13 on July 25!

so a shout out to all our trip and friends and 2 questions:

1.  Tripawd party supplies?  Just wondering if anyone has found these

2.  Seeking advice on arthritis treatments, not surprisingly after amp and TPLO (CCL) surgery in remaining rear leg last year.  Currently on a Rimadyl and PT - doing great but anticipating the need to add some pain management in the future.

anyway -  Best wishes to all of you on this happy day in NYC!

WOW! clapOh my DOG Ajax, you are the Ultimate Tripawd Superstar! superstar FIVE years as a member, and rockin on 3. WOW! Bravo my friend, bravo! And a very hoppy birthday to you my friend!

Holy Toledo Batman, for anyone who isn't familiar with Ajax' long and illustrious and inspawrational story, especially after his TPLo surgery, check out all of the topics his Momma started.

When it comes to pain relief, have you guys checked out adequan injections? I've heard lots of good stuff about how it helps older doggies get round better.

OK so about those supplies...have you popped over to our Tripawds Gifts Blog lately? Lots of cool stuff there. And of course we'd love to send you a new Tripawds bandanna to wear at the big day! Tell your people to PM us your address OK? It's been a while, we want to make sure we have the right one.

Now, your Momma promised new pictures last time. We want pics! This is the last one and it's already a year old!

That's amazing!!!  So happy for you Ajax!  I just glanced, and the one story I picked to read was about Halloween and you carrying a pair of bolt cutters!  Thanks for that vision!  LOL

Hello!  Thanks for the wishes.  We are currently trying to figure out how to get the Ajax-inspired black lab rear Tripawd onto party napkins etc- but did just order some other things from the Tripawds store.

we are using amantadyne and I do think it helps.  Still, the rehab vet thinks his issue is more pain from the arthritis than lack of strength in the rear leg.  Regular vet suggests Gabenten, rehab vet thinks she'd try acupuncture first - thoughts welcome!

pics coming -

Sorry - adequan, not amantadyne.  Currently doing adequan shot every other week.  Does anyone do it more frequently?
