Hi everyone! I'm Amanda, and my little guy is Buster the Beagle. We adopted him from an animal shelter on December 29, 2007. He is approximately 9 1/2 years old, and yesterday, February 19, 2010, was the day he joined the ranks of being a tripawd. In fact, I'm just killing time for the next 30 minutes before I can leave to go pick him up. I know that this is better for him, I just hope I can keep my emotions in check.
I'm so grateful for the videos and information this website has posted, because now I dont feel so depressed about his situation. If anything else, I'm hoping he'll be more active and playful now. He originally had a tumor removed back before Thanksgiving, and it never properly healed. I just hope that this is the beginning of many more years for me to love on him. My house felt extremely empty and lonely without him last night….30 more minutes until I can see my little guy!

Buster is a cutie. Please start a new topic for him so you can update us on his recovery. Your great attitude will be a great help as he learns to adjust the next few days.

Hey Buster, thanks for joining us! We did move your other post to “Share Your Story: Buster the Beagle's journey” so everyone can read about you. And Mom, as you can see, there's no need to be depressed. You'll be amazed at how well Buster will get around! Hang in there.
