Today is Jilly's 26 month ampuversary. 26 months cancer free....been fighting for 32 months total!
I honestly forgot about month 25 and I really think that's a bit of a good thing. Not that I shouldn't be celebrating every single moment I have with her and thanking my lucky stars that we are one of the lucky ones, but it took me a while to get to this place where I didn't worry about every little noise or move she made. Now I just celebrate her by snuggling her, playing with her and of course giving her treats. I truly think I can see a difference in her personality now that I don't hover over her constantly and worry over every little thing she does! Everyday with her is a gift and a bonus.
So anyway....happy 26 months my little girl. I love you love you love you.
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Whoop! Whoop! PAWESOME!!! Congratulations you guys, knocking down another ampuversary means you're kicking BUTT against cancer and we LOVE IT!
Haha you bet it took you a while to get to this place. To hear your new attitude is so awesome, you should be very very proud of yourself. Now you know how to Be More Cat, now you are truly living life as Jill and Jack are too (and Belle of course!). Jill is so proud of you, I don't doubt she is more relaxed these days, now she doesn't have to worry about you like before. YAY!

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013.
