Hey y’all! Thanks so much for all your support and for encouraging us to travel with the boy. While we didn’t have a seamless journey — he got picky about eating and started limping a little (both since checked out at the vet with no definitive diagnosis) — we were grateful to get to bring him with us and proud of how well he did on the ~900-mile round trip. We’re a little over six months past the diagnosis date and coming up on his six-month ampuversary (that’ll be Nov. 7), and it was nice to have the relief of being officially done with chemo.

I said I’d share photos along the way, but uploading photos to these forums is kinda confusing, so here’s an Imgur link where you can check out the whole thing. Captions written by Wabs but typed by momfriend because he’s a terrible speller.

Gonna come back  when my connection mis better.

Oh Wabs and family, way to go! Love the pictures, and the captions show so much of Wabs’ personality! No hunger strikes Wabs, it will ruin your gorgeous figure.

I am glad you all had fun, and so happy to hear that he got a clean bill of health. Ampuversary pawty coming right around the corner, yay!

What FUN! Adorable photos and Wabs is quite a talented author! Congratulations on a fun and successful road trip, I’m so hoppy the pack got to get out for some fun.

Seven months? Wow! HOPPY AMPUVERSARY WABS!

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™

Oh Wab, you are such a GREAT storyteller and your pawrents take fantastic photos too !!!

What a delight to follow your adventure, going in the car and visiting Auntie!

I laughed hysterically at your Mom’s comment about the selfies and your big nose not fitting in easily 🤣🤣🤣

And possibly my favourite picture is of you in the car, you are such a cartoon character, Wabs, you remind me of the squirrel in Ice Age with that mad, goofy, crazy expression 😄

Please post more of your adventures!

Hugs and cuddles 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Thank you sweetie, it is always wonderful to hear Eurydice’s journey was (and hopefully still is) inspiring to others 💓🐮💓

Your Wabs surely is as goofy as Angel Eurydice and I would guess that extends to his fun pawrents 😉

Please keep the adventures coming!

Hugs, cuddles and excited woof woofs from the sky 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹
