The other day after chemo I took Titan into Petco. He needed a new leash. He loves to watch the ferrets and small animals in cages they are eye level for him. So many people came up to us to find out what happened to Titan's leg. He loved the attention. One woman told me Titan was lucky to have me as a mom. I said I am lucky I have him. They really teach us how to live life in the moment. My father died suddenly almost 10 yrs ago at 60. I was in such a depression and slump. My father and I were very close. I got Titan about 3 yrs after my father passed. He has been my little savior. Everyday he teaches me life is a blessing and each day I have with him is a blessing. I love him for being a trooper and my strong "little man"

Heidi & Titan,
You are so right how dogs teach us to live in the moment. They are such a blessing in so many ways. I'll bet Titan does enjoy watching the ferrets andsmall animals. I'm glad you responded to that lady that"you were lucky to have him." Some people just never quite understand the amazing bond that some people share with their "best friends." Titan IS a trooper and your strong little man and I hope he continues to thrive for a long time to come.
