Awesome picture of Ava in the snow - I'm personally not a big snow fan, but I know a lot of dogs are and Ava looks right at home outside. And Ava looks very comfy on the bed!
Oh yeah, YOUR side of the bed is always THEIR side of the bed.....even if you switch sides!! 🙂 Sweet photo! 🙂
So glad to hear how happy SUPER AVA is, especially getting to play on the snow! The snow brings out the puppy in every dog.
Thanks for the good update and wonderful photos! Keep on rockin' Ava! 🙂
Hugs
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Oh Ava.... I'm in love I've been thinking about her and it warms my heart to hear she is doing so well. We just got 14" of snow here and Bubba is loving it. With the deep snow it is more challenging and tiring to plow through. It's hard to believe we are both 5 weeks out already. Both babies are doing well for us. Thank you for the update...
Thank you and I am so glad they are both doing great! I Bubba too!
I don't know what Ava would do with 14 inches of snow! I know her brother JJ would never come inside 🙂 The most we've had is 7 inches this year right before her surgery.
Stay warm and safe and hugs to you and Bubba!
So our lives just got a little crazier! We adopted a sweet 8 month old German Shepherd this past week - Onya - who needed a home.
We are taking things slow introducing this active pup to Ava and JJ and so far so good! My son is such good care taker of them all and Ava is daddy's girl --- so she is okay that Onya is mommy's girl for the moment.
Never a dull moment in our house but full of doggie kisses and love!
ONYA!! CONGRATULATIONS!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 YOU JUST WON THE PUPPY LOTTERY!!! 🙂 🙂
PICTURES!!! WE MUST HAVE PICTURES OF EVERYBODY!!! 🙂
And your son gets a standing ovation from us for being such a caring and responsible friend to all family dogs!

Hey there 🌺
What a sweet pup you've got there, Ava is a real cutie pie 💕
And you've adopted another pup, how truly wonderful 💗
Nothing compares to a house full of dogs (and cats too) it is the most delightful caos one can aspire to have 🤠
You've got a great attitude, no wonder Ava is doing so well and enjoying herself and her new furry friend 😎
Keep up the good work girl (and perhaps get a bigger bed so you can all snuggle together) sending you an avalanche of kisses and cuddles 😘😘😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹
Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
So life has been crazy and a good busy here just over 3 months post surgery! Ava had a routine check up today and is doing great!
Her new sister Onya who has been with us now for a few months has settled into the family well and is now officially part of the pack according to Ava and JJ!
And Ava is queen of this household 🙂
Hope to have pictures posted when I can!
So good to hear from yoi!! Yes, we shall anxiously await the photos!

We've had a bit of a set back over a week ago as Ava pulled a muscle or possible partially tore a ligament in her back right leg per our vet (same side as her amputation :()
Lots of rest (which is hard for her) and we she is back on pain meds and anti inflammatory meds.
Thank goodness for the Ruff Wear Harness too to help with some extra support! She got much needed rest with us this past week and is such a trooper!
Praying she heals!
Ava darling girl and super trooper!
i have just been catching up on your news here... I’m sorry to hear that you are back on those horrid meds and bed rest lovey. Stewie knows all about that I’m afraid! But rest assured things will get back to normal within a few days! We will certainly be keeping you in our strength prayers! We are hoping for a pulled muscle, they are much easier to repair themselves arent’ they?
look forward to seeing pictures of the new pup and furmily!
All the very best from Stewie and his furmily
