She looks amazing! I'm so happy for you both. Her incision looks perfect and where did you get the super hedgy? How cute is your pic of those two little heroes - Skyla needs a cape too she is clearly a super pup!

WOW! She has the healing power of a much younger doggie, the incision does look beautiful!

If you don't mind me asking, how much time did you get with your Jerry post-op?

Mind? No way, ask whatever you wish. Jerry lived two years post-diagnosis, and we went the non-chemo route as well. Although we did do metronomics once we discovered lung mets, 17 months after his amputation.

I totally know what you mean, you want to focus on the Here and Now but stay dedicated to keeping the cancer away. It's a fine line to walk but I have a feeling Skyla has already taught you many lessons about how to do that. Keep up the great news.

You said it PERFECTLY!!!

" I think expecting nothing and being grateful for every single day is really the best attitude."

The "c" word means NOTHING to Skyla!! Days on a calendar mean nothing to Skyla! Skyla lives in the moment and each moment is one eternal glorious moment after the other! Skyla is letting NOTHING interfere with her happiness and you must never let any concerns about tomorrow rob you of your time together today!! 🙂

Jist continue to make every day THE BEST DAY EVER...just like Skyla does!! 🙂 🙂

YAY FOR BANDAGE OFF!!! 🙂 🙂 BIG YAAAAAAAAAY!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 The incision looks great and so does she!! 🙂 🙂 SKYLA IS BEAUTIFUL!! 🙂 LOOOOOOVE SEEING PICTURES OF THIS HAPPY GIRL!! 🙂 🙂

Hugs to all!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Dear Sally,

I just had to tell you that in the past few weeks, I've gone back and looked at this message many times because your words are so POWERFUL and encouraging! You really have a way of lifting up the spirits and in the process, making me cry with relief and hope.

I could never thank you enough. Skyla feels so loved and I can see it in her eyes again.

Lots of love,

Rae & Skyla heart
