my snowy went tomthe vet for a normal checkup , where he fell of the trolly at the vet’s clinic and broke his arm. We did the first operation and after 2 weeks of recovery the hand was not healed and yet broken again . We did anther operation where a cast was put over the stitches and an infection developed which did not go away after a month. He was in so much pain and we could do nothing else than ampute his leg. He is a tripod now recivering slowly.

OH MY GOSH!!!  POOR SNOWY INDEED!!!   We see a lot of variables as far as how a dog or cat may break his leg,  ut this is one for the books!!

While I'm soooo sorry all this happened, you did the right thing by going ahead and getting rid of thst bum leg that virtually had no chance of ever healing properly.

Recovery is no picnic for a couple of weeks and it can be tricky getting the right pain meds at the right dose to keep him comfortable.  How mich dpes he weightp and what pain meds is he on?

Plase let us know if you have any questions, okay?  We are here with you and for you!

Hugs
