Kenzie Discovers Toilet Paper!
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

Paula and Warrior Angel Nitro
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

My sweet soulmate Roane was diagnosed with osteo in June of 2019. Had a rear leg amp on July 2nd & crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister Gypsy on the first day of Autumn Sept 23 2019.
Kenzie continues to thrive!
Her 1st day in her forever home. Exhausted, mange, and under fed. She is about 11.5 weeks.
Kenzie, now about 16 weeks. She is wearing her new tag, "Protect this Dog" that her Aunt Sally sent her, and made by Renee. What a difference a little love, and a little food makes. Well, and a few trips to the vet. lol

WOW! The difference between Kenzie's first picture at her furever home really shows the bad shape she was in. And then to see the transformation in that video is truly a miracle! Such a testament to what love and care and patience can do (and a few unexpected costs)!
Seeing her prance around with such joy and confidence is priceless. And Sassy certainly gets a lot of credit for being a very good sister! I love how Kenzie tries to engage her and Sassy just wags and keeps on focusing on whatever mission she's on. So cute! And then when Sassy took a wee and Kenzie walks a little bit away and takes a wee too.

Max has a sore back for the past couple days but doing better. he could of jumped off the couch wrong, or Kenzie pounced on him. Max being almost 10 doesn't have much to do with Kenzie except guarding his toys. lol

Kenzie, Max, Sassy, and I are wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! This Christmas will be bitter sweet. I am excited that this will be Kenzie's first Christmas! I can't wait to see how excited she will be when she finds her stocking full of goodies! However, with some of the things she has done, it should be full of coal. lol. But I am also feeling a lot of emotion, because this will be the first Christmas without Brownie since 2008. Brownie loved Christmas! When the tree and the stockings went up, he knew what was coming, and he definitely knew who Santa Clause was!
Christmas 2017
Christmas 2018 (sorry video is a little dark). I can't believe just two months later he would be diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, and our life would be turned upside down. But thanks to this amazing community we made it through.
2019 was Brownie's last Christmas. Due to the cancer, and the senior issues Brownie was having, I knew it would be, so I tried to make it special. He was a happy boy Christmas morning when he saw how full his stocking was, and of course the traditional turkey.

Brownie had the same stocking since 2008. Christmas just wouldn't be the same without it. So this year it hangs on his nook.

Paw shucks Nancy, we are right with you, it'll be our first Christmas without Wyatt Ray since 2009. These firsts...ugh.
Of course you'll make this pawliday extra special with Angel Brownie lighting up the winter for all of us. Can't wait to see what Kenzie gets this year. She's so cute, there's no way Santa Paws will give her coal!
I love how you looked back on Brownie's very special pawlidays! Thank you for sharing, it was good to hear his voice. What a treat to see your hoppy boy just ARRRWWWOOOFing away. The joy in your voice and his put a huge smile on my face today, thank you.

Oh my goodness, Brownie certainly does know who Santa Claus is!! And vice versa! It was so much fund watching him prancing around so proudly with his Christmas toy. He was gonna make sure he walked away from Sassy and Max so there was no chan of either try to take it!
And that Happy bark of his was so much fun to hear! He had Myrtle and Frankie's attention jist now!
I love that Brownie has had the same stocking all these years. It's very, very cute👍 And heck yeah, you put that up! Sweeeet memories!
Cannot wait to see what Kenzie thinks of her first Chris. Of course, being with you as her hooman is like Christmas everyday! You are such a gift to all the pupsmin your life!
